When did you file the complaint?
Was the ticket closed by TM, and did you file an appeal?

Please ensure that your ticket remains open until you have received the promised speed upgrade. If they (Telekom Malaysia) attempt to mark your case as resolved prematurely, utilize the appeal function to keep the ticket active.

Keeping the ticket open for an extended period will eventually attract the attention of personnel from the MCMC. At this stage, TM will make every effort to resolve the issue appropriately.

The order was marked as completed in their system on July 30, 2024, but the tracking number provided remains untraceable to this day.
I have raised a ticket with MCMC regarding this issue, and TM informed me that the delivery time frame is within 14 days after the order completion. They assured me that my device should arrive by 16 August, 2024.

Exactly. And the way they spoke to me over the phone made it seem like they were saying "Lepas kami send order dekat supplier, not our problem anymore"

800Mb/s would only get 1Gb/s no?

Probably a typo or he misheard what the TM personnel said.

1. Ensure that your current contract has expired.
2. Complete your free speed upgrade to 1Gbps.
3. Wait for one month after the speed upgrade.
4. Submit a registration for Maxis Fiber 1Gbps service.
5. Visit TM Point to submit your termination request.

With some luck, TM may counteroffer you the 1Gbps service for RM159.

If you haven't received any communication from TM regarding the speed upgrade, consider raising a ticket with the MCMC to expedite the process.

No. Most of them are not

No, you have already received the upgrade from 500 Mb/s to 800 Mb/s. The tickets raised with MCMC are for 800 Mb/s users who are supposed to be upgraded to 1 Gb/s as part of the 2023 free upgrade.

Finally arrived—just in time to meet the deadline set by TM.

My order only became traceable 15 days after it was placed.

When did you place your order, and what did you order?

Probably by next Monday?

I raised a ticket with MCMC after four days of being unable to trace the order, as the SMS from TM mentioned that the order should be traceable within two days.

Interestingly, my order was delivered just one day after they registered it into LineClear system.

I received a call today offering a free upgrade to 1Gb/s with three months of free billing if I renew my contract.

I mentioned that I’m already using 1Gb/s. It seems like it might be from a third-party company, not TM.

Nope. I temporarily disabled the block on the 'porn' category in our office firewall to test this. After confirming the results, I re-enabled the block.

Perhaps the area isn't blocked yet, as both my office in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, and my house in SS 19, Subang are still not restricted. Both locations are less than 5 km of each other.

If you haven't renewed your contract, then yes.
If you have already renewed it, then no.

If one TM Point says you can’t, try a different one.
Ensure you visit an actual TM Point or UniFi Store, not an authorized dealer or reseller.
