Been informed (unofficially) that only those customers currently paying at least RM239 on their  800 mbps plan will get free upgrade to 1Gbps.This is to bring price alignment and standardization on the 1Gbps plan @RM239 after upgrade, as there's so many price variations on the 800mbps plan due to previous discounts promo. I  think you're paying RM129 or less for your 800mbps plan,  correct? Just like me, likely not going to get the 1Gbps free upgrade.  Also was told, if need 1Gbps then I have to pay RM239. Let see if TM will make a u-turn on this (unofficial) policy.
*
Doesn’t make sense. Then they should not announce 800 will get free upgrade to 1gbps in general.

I have changed to SWU last month and only just checked my bill.

I'm a little confused on the -154.55 charge. Is the minus supposed to be an actual cost or something that is supposed to be waived? or is that 263.95 a charge that got carried over from my previous package?

Announcement is one thing, actually giving the upgrade is another. Not making sense maybe to us, but from TM business POV, it does. Anyways, as I said let's hope they will make a u-turn on the policy. We can only continue to wait and hope...

I’m currently on 800mbps + ultimate pack + 600 free mins of call at RM150.

Received confirmation from TM that the upgrade is now
Prioritising for those on 800mbps plan paying RM239 and above.
Those whom are paying lesser, the upgrade will surely be given but timeline has been given or specified when it will be done.Attached Image

Just want some advices from all Sifus here . My current company just took up the TM Unifi Biz 1Gbps package.
We tested via the WIFI getting the average 900mbps ~ 1gbps then we put in our switches and AP but the wireless AP speed was around ~ 400 mbps max. Switches and WAP all are gigabit port hardware by Ruijie.
Then I found out that when I plugged in direct wired (cat 6) to the TM Unifi ONR D-Link DPN-FX3060V , I also get the same average 400 mbps but if I switch to the wireless connection I am getting above 900mbps to 1gbps.

Any ideas what wrong? bangwall.gif

managed switch?

(i) traffic shaping on managed switch port? or your switch' port used for testing itself have restriction?

(ii) mixed VLAN trunking with plain ethernet on same port?

It'd be best to have tm upgrade 1g to 2 with 2.5g lan port ont/router, but then they have to upgrade existing 2g users too so confused.gif

Yes, L2 managed switch but the problem is ..i removed all the switches and AP. Just use back all to default Unifi router. Then plug direct from my laptop to the router DPN-FX3060V and I am getting the same 400 mbps yet the WIFI from the router giving me 1gbps.

In the router admin portal, showing the internet is on own vlan. Connection [0]. All the LAN when connect showing 1000/1000. confused.gif

I doubt they’ll bring out 2.5G ONU by this year, will probably stick with FX3060V for a year more at least

But hopefully it’s soon since I alr have custom solution for utilizing it in a non aggregation way

So direct connection from combo box via RJ45 is also 400mbps max?

Sounds like potentially a bad ONR..

Yeap, only WIFI giving the max speed.. most likely will call TM over to check on it.

Crappy TM never give a good routers since last time. Always need to replace with something.
