same everything buffer on my side, load local website no prob but overseas all laggy af

Did unifi changed something on their end? my asus merlin router was fine for years, but now I get inconsistent speed, had to switch to their provided router to get my full subscribed speed and had to reconfigure my home devices again

Probably your ASUS router needed a reset.

ASUSWRT / Tomato based firmwares are known for this after a while.

Yup, hard reset to wipe NVRAM.

If your Merlin version is older, try updating as well.

Currently, my package is Unifi 300Mbps—Speed Upgrade (Ultimate + UPB), with a monthly payment of RM179. I plan to change to Unifi Home 500Mbs—Variety packs, with a similar commitment, monthly. I am unsure if it is worth changing the package. Could somebody please enlighten me on this? Many thanks
