I used CelcomDigi for 15 months as main line and Maxis as secondary. Then I swapped my Maxis to main line after 15 mths because CelcomDigi prefers to connect to 4G network rather than 5G when compared to Maxis. My guess is CelcomDigi has to pay DNB for every GB data, therefore, they rather connect its subscribers to its 4G network.

Even when I was with CelcomDigi, their network not stable and always have connection issues. After I swap to Maxis as my main line, all these issues gone. Maxis is not perfect but they are much more stable and better than CelcomDigi. So, if your office/residence has good Maxis coverage, then I advice you to port to Maxis. You will see the difference. This is based on my personal experience with CelcomDigi for 15 months before I ported back to Maxis.

Only existing Celcom users will get Celcom as the provider? Damn, I was hoping to port out to One Ultra as the price offered is unbeatable compared to Maxis One Family Plan. Perhaps I should give their postpaid line a try before port out one shot.

Yes, only current Celcom users will get Celcom on Postpaid. All newly registered Postpaid will get Digi. But they are combining both into one, so more or less you will get the same signals strength.

They want you to kept an eye on they 4G signals. If no good, tell them. 😂
Honestly 4G is actually good enough on phone. CelcomDigi bandwidth was very good already. 5G not so useful just yet.

I'm agree with you since merger Digi network in indoor improves a lot. Mostly relying on 2100Mhz bands in most area.

Why you want MNP ? Both Digi and Celcom now using same network in Klang valley in 70% of places. Either you subscribe Digi or use Celcom you get same experience.
B4 port in Maxis just buy sim card on 99 try the coverage

Digi celcom prepaid 5g edisi yellow has 40gb + unlimited calls VS yoodo 20gb + 100 mins call both at same price.

Not sure if yoodo will have more appealing plan after auto convert to DigiCelcom. Was told that the customizeable plan is to stay even after cease opearation.

Then go for it. CD Prepaid 25 definitely value for money. I think most places Digi improved in terms on indoor coverage mainly

From my experience having used Maxis previously before switching to CD, outdoor coverage for 4G more or less the same. However, for indoors I find CD have better speeds compared to Maxis.

I mostly around BU, and indoor although both have good 4G coverage, CD is faster. Maxis I noticed within this area is that got full 4G bars, but Internet very slow. Got frequent buffer while watching FB videos/Twitter using Maxis.

Hi, anyone with Edisi Kuning Prepaid 5G 39 (RM39)...if 30GB hotspot quota finished, does that meant you cannot use hotspot anymore? Or you can use and will deduct from base quota? Thinking of subscribing...

Has anyone tried moving from CD postpaid 5G to CD prepaid Edisi Kuning? I recently wanted to changed mine coz cheaper and more data. I chose the “change plan” option on the website but it seems like they’re delivering me a new sim card? I wonder how does this work 🤔

Is it as simple as swapping the sim (and maintain existing number) or need to “port out” to prepaid since both under CD.

Just walk in Digi Store nearby they can do it. For Postpaid to prepaid need eKYC verification perform. I changed Digi Postpaid family 20 to Prepaid no issue

So I’ve tried switching from the Postpaid 60 SE to CD Prepaid Edisi Kuning. I’m surprised there’s no call from Celcom retention team, and the process was rather straightforward. Same like how you port to other carrier.

One thing I noticed, previously on postpaid it shows as “Bersama di Wilayah Celcom”. Now change to edisi kuning, it shows as DiGi. Thought my area edi fully integrated the network.
