Just got my gx kad. Do I need to withdrawn from ATM to activate? Or can straight away use contactless after activate from app?

I am keeping my GXCard purely as an alternative for Overseas spend with thier 1% cashback and Zero Fee. This as an alternative to Wise which depending on country/merchant can get turned down but usually offers a slightly superior rate.

Hahaha me too, actually I like their pocket which has the function for daily auto debit + their pockets still giving 2% interest.

Yes, auto add money to pocket. So far no auto withdrawal but you can withdraw manual, I mean the purpose for pocket is to save money right haha.

People want auto-withdrawal to ease the 1 cent trick =p

But if you experience payment failure when making Alipay payment in China, try remove card then add back the card (reenter the card details) again on Alipay app.

Suggest to standby adding another card in Alipay as well, such as Wise or other debit cards.

Alternatively, you can use your GX Bank card, to withdraw cash in any China bank ATMs. The rates will follow Mastercard 0%, and the limit follows your daily transaction limit.
As what I know, there's no ATM fees there.
