8% p.a. from flexicredit, but give 2% p.a. for saving account/pockets, factor in 2% margin for management and expenses, that would give 4% net interest income eh?

Spent a few times using GX card in Jakarta. Xchange rate as good as the best money changer rate in KV. If after 1% CB, it is better

is there something wrong with the GX bank debit card?

Paywave transactions keeps getting declined, online transactions also failed.

bank account got money, details all correct. Online and contactless transactions enabled, limit not exceeded.

Also, noticed the virtual card in the GX app will not show my card details. Nothing happens after i enter my pin.

you still get RM0.01 cashback for purchases under RM10. good for toll cashback (Aeonbank doesn't give points for toll). RM2.10 toll still get RM0.01 that's 0.5%

Working previously or first time using the debit card?

no issue previously, just noticed this yesterday when I tried to paywave and today topup. Both failed.

edit: ok i somehow fixed it.

The card no longer functions - I noticed in GX app, the card details and freeze/unfreeze card BUTTON will not work. Transactions all declined and failed, rendering the card useless.
So I tried update app, close open app. Still the same. Then, I login and out multiple times until the buttons worked 1 by 1 for every login/logout I tried.

What a ridiculous issue, the card wont function because the app is bugged. No notice or any warning.

I would say that all these digital banks are still relatively new. Heard boost bank has a lot of issues.

They are all rushing to go into market first, deal with bugs later.

One of the downside of Digital Bank in Malaysia...

I was overseas and GX works fine until one day, suddenly stopped working.

Send a request to GX and after a week, they came back to say maintainence.

So, don't ever depend on 1 card.

anyone here got problem accessing gxbank app? I have been trying to login but on the landing page already got this error message:
Something went wrong. Your phone can't be used for Gxbank. this could be because its been modified in some way"

mine is OK. are you on a custom ROM or rooted? what phone are you using? also try disabling developer mode see if it helps

ya. That is why I always carry more than 1 card and make sure from different bank and make sure one is Visa and the other MC.

What I would like to highlight was, it took GX more than a week to give me explanation. That is too long a wait.
