I'm planning to keep ~RM10k inside for 2 week Europe trip. Will carry some small amount of cash just incase, but will mainly be using the card

Instant cash back eventho is just 1% but is applicable ALMOST all type of transactions!

Helpdesk is not robot. Two types of helpdesk - chat with REAL human or call.

Will continue use GX as long they provide cashback. 3% daily interest is a bonus for me.

anyone experience using GX Card linked with Alipay where it keep failed to make payment randomly? GX CS suggested to delete and link the card again each time when want to use with Alipay / WeChat Pay. Besides that, it is rather slow using with Alipay / WeChat compare with other banks cards where it required to approve the transaction in GXsecure. The pro is competitive foreign exchange rate but is not reliable when want to use for payment

Careful to check gxbank scheduled transfer
they sent me email on satuday for my sunday transfer
but they did not transfer on sunday
and other than the email they sent me
no any record in their system or my account for that transfer
and they refused to bear the responsibility on late payment and interest incurred by the card issuer
very disappointed with gxbank on this matter
never had this issue before with aeon bank before

Last time sc same failed but they inform in app secured message (but no app notification)
But luckily I noticed so no issue
This one really disappointed they said no scheduled record at all
So I screwed the cs
Email screenshot + forward back to them
Reported to bnm hope bnm can penalize them cause no record mean a really big issue cause digital bank no black and white on paper
Today they can say no record in system tomorrow they can say to anybody no such account cause no record found

is there something wrong with the GX bank debit card?

Paywave transactions keeps getting declined, online transactions also failed.

bank account got money, details all correct. Online and contactless transactions enabled, limit not exceeded.

Also, noticed the virtual card in the GX app will not show my card details. Nothing happens after i enter my pin.

Gxbank for overseas use with 1%  cashback is quite good. Plus cashback the rates are better than Wise. ATM cash withdrawal should be for emergency use only as most local banks overseas charge atm withdrawal fees with some exception of course. During holidays trying to search for a specific atm is a hassle.  Due to using Gxbank for cashback, I am left with RM6000 worth of yen after  my family holiday trip recently.
