The 3870x2 is so darn long. But from the previous graphics card like x1650xtx2 and all,I feel that it isn't practical as they are long and doesn't really perform up to standard unless this card can proove me wrong.

There is a 2x2600XT version from Sapphire and Gecube. It isn't very long. it is like normal 2900XT. You guys can go Robyncom to check out the real item from Gecube.

The Gecube version is DDR2 only and some more didn't have Crossfire connector.

I know the Sapphire version got GDDR4 and got Crossfire connector. However, I didn't manage to see the item selling in Malaysia.

the X2 seems like an inch or two longer than the R600, so i guess it's fine with my casing.

Yeah i wanna know the performance of the card too especially in crisis compared to 8800gt...

i know 8800gt is definitely better but what's the difference in gameplay, is it negligible?

These ATI card dont blow away NVIDIA's top of the line offering yet but they are on the right direction...These cards suck less power and go cooler...

You do the math...less power, less heat, lower price = crossfire heaven not forgetting drivers are yet to be fully optimised yet...so have patience...they'll get there.

So if 3850x2 (dual-GPU) used in CrossFire mode (3850x2 x2), then it will be Double-CrossFire ???

Or is the 3850x2 (dual-GPU) already taking up two PCI slots?

ps: hopefully ATI can get 'closer' to Nvidia this time around. Note the word 'closer'.

it just normal crossfire.

Just that 2x dual core graphics card crossfire together.

Only two PCI-express slots.
