yess its true...this cable (composite cable) CANNOT be used for playing games. only for movies.

the reason i bought this cable is to connect the PSP and watch movies when I'm travelling and connect it to the hotel TV. Cos rarely my company give me hotel with LCD TV hahaha tongue.gif

if you wanna play games then you need the "component cable" suitable for LCD/Plasma TV.

Some additional info... the D-Sub cable (15 pin VGA) could also be sed to play games biggrin.gif

Since when there is a D-Sub cable for the Slim? I think you're referring to the D Terminal Cable which is for Japan use only. Unless you have a TV with a D Terminal Input.

Whoops... I thought I came across one at playasia...

well I must have been mistaken then... perhaps it was D Terminal.

although I wish there was one so that could plug it in the PC monitor biggrin.gif

thousand apologies sweat.gif

i dun think there's any malware for PSP at the moment, but technically it's possible to create a PSP specific virus

and viruses made specifically for windows will only attack windows pc, it can't touch macintosh and unix, and also PSP

PSP that are selling at shops right now mostly come with 3.71 M33 / 3.71 M33-2 / 3.71 M33-3.

Mine come with 3.71 M33 and I upgraded to 3.71 M33-3.

There are some bugs in earlier version of 3.71 M33, where your PSP could be bricked by accessing your flash0 by using USB. You can't access flash0 by accident, the option to access it is hidden in PSP's Recovery Menu, and to access Recovery Menu, you have to hold R-Shoulder button when turning on your PSP. So there is no way you could access flash0 unless you're doing it on purpose.

The USB bug has been fixed in 3.71 M33-3.
