Need help from all the sifus in here. I just bought a psp slim and it's running 3.71 m33-3 custom firmware. I wanted to run some homebrews (emulator and pdf reader). I put the files in the GAME150 folder as per the instructions but it does not work. The error message is "The game could not be started. (80020148).
*
Maybe because the homebrew software you're trying to use requires kernel 1.5?

PSP Slim cannot run homebrew that requires kernel 1.5 .

In this case, anyone knows which GBA emulator and e-book reader (pdf), which is compatible with custom firmware 3.71 m33-3?

Not sure about PDF reader, but iR Shell has a built in PDF Reader.

For the GBA Emulator, UO gpSP kai 3.2 is compatible with PSP Slim.

Any homebrew that I can use which will enable me to listen to mp3 while playing games? Also any e-book reader, or pdf reader to recommend besides the pdf reader in built into irshell? Recommend something compatible to custom firmware 3.71 m33-3 please. Thanks smile.gif

Yeah, I've tried Sony No UMD.....it's not working too......

What I am afraid now is that I need a UMD in place to play :-(

because of that TV did not support progressive. that's why u cant play games on the tv.without a progressive tv, it is useless to buy the tv cable... sweat.gif

yess its true...this cable (composite cable) CANNOT be used for playing games. only for movies.

the reason i bought this cable is to connect the PSP and watch movies when I'm travelling and connect it to the hotel TV. Cos rarely my company give me hotel with LCD TV hahaha tongue.gif

if you wanna play games then you need the "component cable" suitable for LCD/Plasma TV.

Some additional info... the D-Sub cable (15 pin VGA) could also be sed to play games biggrin.gif
