I wonder who are they rebranding
But AX1500 seems kinda...low?

Also odd of them to go with something else instead of their own recommendations of those few ZTE models
*
Telco Y has also recently upgraded their modem offerings with the Infinite Gateway Pro 5G router.

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5403079/+240

About its actual model, the only 3rd party 5G model router out there with Snapdragon SDX55 chipset and dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet port is Zyxel.

It's impossible to find it anymore on online platforms such as Shopee and Lazada. All sold out and a few handful of hoarders have since hike the price over RM800.

Hmm so the 1st "cylindrical" design one is from Kaon Broadband
and the 2nd square one is from ZTE

not much info out there about the Kaon one, Kaon's own website doesnt have a list of products for 5g devices

The ZTE MC888S seems to be using a Unisoc chip according to
https://www.4gltemall.com/zte-mc888s.html

UNISOC UDX710 5G Modem
and
Qualcomm QCA8337 which some sites say its a "ethernet switch"

They are 15Mbps and 26Mbps on 4G mifi at my office. For testing purpose only. Haven’t tested at the place I’m actually setting up the broadband. Anyway, got a month to try it out and only meant for lite use.

Kaon one is sure more cheaper one looking from just "AX1500" class and 2 ethernet

ZTE MC888s comes with "AX5400" class wireless and 4 ethernet

The Unisoc UDX710 is the 5G radio modem chipset is TSMC 12nm based while the Mediatek T750 is newer 7nm based.

It is at least a generation behind both Mediatek and Snapdragon based ones.

I read somewhere got people said try to avoid caina 5G modems because most of them are using caina chips that are not so compatible with Msia 5G network.
Better get those with qualcomm chips for best compatibility hmm.gif hmm.gif

The recent new modems that are being launched by both UMobile and Yes will be using Unisoc IVY510 chipset.
