Am I the only who’s using Zyxel NR5103E? I’m pretty happy with it, no major issue and speed has been consistent and stable though.

Yeah, same here. Mine is the "3" model bought from Taobao. My only complaint is the size. laugh.gif

Yeah, big for me. I have the old Huawei B618 LTE router for many years so when I got this router last year, I was shocked by the size and it is bigger. laugh.gif

I used Zyxel NR5103E too since the early period of 5G adoption, in fact I had two, sold one and keep the other as backup ..at that time it was expensive, now I switched to X50 5G to compliment with my X50 POE mesh system.

If you are referring to the TP LInk Deco X50, it is no smaller than your current Zyxel...

Smallest & slim 5G is MC801A1, me feel it's slightly better than NR5103E. By the way me had both 3 version MC801A1 & NR5103E.

Actually I don't mind the size but just surprised that all 5G routers are not that small. sweat.gif

bigger chassis to allow for better heat dissipation?

tighter, smaller chassis will just cause faster overheat and would require additional cooling.

Same. Bought the "3" model off Shopee during a sale (Got it for RM520 - earlier managed to get it for RM490 during a sale but Shopee stupid payment system kept the payment pending until after the sale is over mad.gif bangwall.gif )

I have since bought the Olax G5010 for use at office - surprisingly able to get and maintain 5G signal even indoor at an area about 1km outside official coverage - same area has very weak 4G coverage. Speed not bad too peaking at around 150Mbps

I got it at RM 470 from Taobao last Oct, almost a year now. Now cannot find back this price. So, I assume I hit a good deal.

I didn't know there is a MiFi for 5G already. thumbup.gif That Olax looks good but since U Home 5G is just a spare line and we have a fiber at home, I don't want to spend more now but this looks like a good stuff to be honest.

801A is ok... Celcom gave me one unit... Too bad its locked, still considering whether or not wanna continue when it expires next year... It's a bit costly at RM149

After repositioning my MC888S, seems like speed and signal is quite stable. Router also running very cool with the fan added blowing directly at the heat spreader.

i use olax g5018. got it at rm788 during last 6.6 sale. so far so good. hnghhhh never disconnect & no random reboot at all. speed stable 200mbps - 400mbps with nearest 5g tower is about 2km from my house. no regret at all. so relieved i didn't fall for UM *free router for 24 months contract* scam. without any contract & i can change to any imei within 10 seconds, I'm free to change to other telco & can use any *phone only* sim without any worries. hehe. plus I can connect it to external parabolic/hyperbolic antenna in the future (if my place becomes too congested bec 5g users keep increasing here)..
