Note : Reached 2.98 @ 284 x 10.5, load windows with proud but fail in Orthos after few minutes stressed blush.gif . Most probably because of the PSU. Will try to reach 3ghz but will require better PSU than current cap itik laugh.gif .

p/s : My friend (afosz) using Brisbane 3600+ also reaching 2.81, just wondering why I cudn't surpass 3ghz. Any tips wahai sifu sekalian ? Or I rilly have to change my PSU since my vcore is at 1.4v already sweat.gif

What PSU you use?
Vcore?? Vdimm??
Increase Vcore also cannot reach 3GHz???
Try play w MAL and tref.

Editted: Just saw you use chapalang PSU. Better change a good one to oc. If not, u might end up w spoilt hardware.

Amended for my words bro. A bit stress up with screamyx here.

So far dont think will try tweak anything until a better PSU. The main problem is my empty wallet =P

cooler master extreme, is it a good choice to replace ayam brand psu there? i'm having the same problem too, but then when i think of it, kinda waste for me to spend rm300+ just to increase 0.1-0.2ghz. so far it is stable, and still working

btw any news regarding phenom?

at least its better than those cap itik psu..
i think overclocking is not a big deal for CM Extreme power, unless u are using many high-end stuffs..
last time i was using CM Extreme 430W, and it served me good..but no major overclocking done, only some..(1.8GHz~2.2GHz)

Using better quality PSU isnt only meant for overclocking. Basically, 3 major factors that make people consider getting higher end PSU, mainly due to having many power hungry components (GFX,HDD,Optical Drives). And as well as getting a more stable and reliable PSU than those of unbranded ones which flunctuates alot which also heavily influence overclocking result.

Independent core clocking with Phenom? Very nice indeed!

Sorry if it not related to this thread...

But I see the potential of independent overclocking of each core especially to these overclocker freaks such as dblooi blush.gif

Understand that, thank you very much notworthy.gif it just for my purpose, current psu is good enough. It just not good enough to reach higher MHz in OCing. at least i'll buy better ones until it dead or new setup tongue.gif

Just realize coz it has been a while since my last visit, and X2 3800+ F3 already 3.5GHz? shocking.gif Can any Brisbane reach like that? And look at that vcore, is it safe or is it for suicide OC only?
