QUOTE(ocz @ Oct 19 2007, 11:45 PM) Wow,3.9Ghz.... haha, tat's just a unstable clock speed, basically can ignore it..i just drag it for funI can only dream of achieving 3.9Ghz... But the mobo seems to be great in performance. Actually,im kind of confuse about the chipset for AM2,too many...690,6100,etc... TA690G is real tough oc mobo, very ocable in all aspects.. CPU, RAM, HTT ,HT Link and GPU and the price is very cheap, i got it for RM 250 from robyncom check this out, stable clock speed...achieved by TA690G as well CPU 3.7GHz , Ram 1232MHz 5-5-4-3-2T Super Pi 1M 22.250s |

Im sure this proc has a huge potential.. Anyways, as for now this is my best result... 24.838s 1m SPI 3.5Ghz @ 1.55v [attachmentid=313955] Now testing a stable clock for my 24/7 usage PRC : 3.1Ghz @ 1.25v RAM : 517Mhz @ 4-4-4-8-11 Idle temps : 33c Load temps : 38c i love the temps @ 1.25v Now orthos @ 17minute, if it passes 1 hour then add me to the list really nice result |

QUOTE(ocz @ Oct 21 2007, 04:22 AM) Just get the mobo that you wanted to get badly in ur mind. If you think 690G is totally screw up, just dump it. no point to buy something that you seriously doubt on it This post has been edited by dblooi: Oct 21 2007, 09:37 PM |

@ongbs
that's a memory controller bug of AMD. you can tweak some insane ram timings by using 9.5x CPU multiplier give a try |

QUOTE(lohwenli @ Oct 21 2007, 11:45 PM) USM student (& also screw up PCs during my free time off topic question.My AM2 OC result is long overdue..been too busy tweaking my legacy setup (built for win 98 applications). Managed 2.7GHz on my Windsor F2, but not stable at all (not enough cooling to pump enough voltage). Gonna work on it after exams, anyway my AM2 is always at home while I'm always at campus except during holidays, its destined to be my HTPC/home server eventually. USM student? where are you staying now? don't tell me your are staying in E park or N park If yes can go find you and OC ur rig kaw kaw p/s: my watercooler back to work |
