Photo show actual running test of the following Super PI 32M, after Vdimm mod from 2.30V max to 2.65V.
Actual Vcore is 1.55V, Vdimm 2.60V
just curious why PI result not good enough!

My ugly rig photo attached :

don't shot me, no time to fix it nicely tongue.gif
busy OC....

although ugly, but i still feel better than bro dblooi's super ice water colling rig...damn dangerous sweat.gif rclxm9.gif

WOW, at last, I managed to Vmod my Abit AN9 32X Vdimm from 2.3V Max to 2.65V now brows.gif

Bro ongbs,
I think your 32M still can improve more icon_rolleyes.gif
Btw looking at your WC pic, I am like a noob OC'er (only on air cooling) sweat.gif
*
haha bro, this is my "virgin" trial on WC setup, my 1st ever setup smile.gif
been using air cool for last 15 yrs hmm.gif

about the 32M PI timing, I just can't firuge out yet, it should peforms better@ CPU 3446MHz, DDR 1350MHz.
Maybe x9.5 multiplier is not good for this setup, or maybe just a bug in CPU-Z reporting?

hi there, i am new to here..
currently i upgrade my rig liou to
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2Dual Core Processor 5600+ | kokifung | ASUS M2A-MVP | Kingston DDR2 667 | Stock fan

erm.. using stock fan better not overclocked it right?

erm.. wat is you guys out there your processor's normal temperature? my wan day time 40-45; evening nearly 50-55; night 37-42
*
Temp for all ppl quite different depends on casing ventilation and ambient temp.

I am currently test run Super PI 32M on my Winsor F3@3.0G rig, Vcore is 1.25V.
with Thermaltake Silent Water (WC), pump is running but I switch OFF the radiator fan.
Just curious will it pass 32M PI hmm.gif

haha...it just passed 32M PI with max load temp about 60C smile.gif

no lah, confirm CPU-Z voltage reading problem, mobo BIOS ok.

Daily use may fix at 3.2G or 3.3G, will decide later smile.gif

a simple tweak that will improve the Pi result by 0.3s~0.6s, just by copying a file from one partition to the other one before u run super Pi wink.gif
but there're some steps must be followed in order to perform it correctly smile.gif

bro, teach me how to do it then I will enter 23s reion drool.gif brows.gif

And trust me its rock stable. 1st half an hour of orthos.. i decided to push it further by pushing my 8800GTS as well. There goes the ATiTool artifact scanning at my best 8800GTS stable clock speed (650/1625/2000mhz). So.. basically im running orthos + atitool artifact scanning AND watch a movie while im at it tongue.gif

Once again, a very big thanks to bro dblooi for brigging us these wonderful gems, ive made 2 great buy this year. First, my rams, and the F3 rclxms.gif

Walau eh, another crazy nut busy for whole night, SPI 1M result only improve 1s rclxub.gif (Iced WC - infected by our OC Guru - bro dblooi tongue.gif )

Max 3800+F3 speed that able to boot into XP and passed SPI 1M test was 370x10=3.71GHz, DDR2~1250MHz, PI 1M = 23.687s.

Mobo: Abit AN9 32X, Am2 3800 F3, mod WC with Thermatake Waterblock
+ Thermaltake 400L/h Pump + Swiftech Radiator (able to mount 2x120mm fans but this time fans were taken out to soak the radiator into the iced water).

Refer to photo attached, radiator coolant during action was around 18C. CPU under load still >40C@1.6V. sweat.gif

Previously with WC alone this rig max speed passed SPI 1M was 3.5GHz@ 24.453s. Can't go any further, I judged the max speed limit by the F3 proc.
The purpose to carry out this test is to confirm the previous max speed 3.5GHz was limited by the F3 proc not the Abit mobo.

But I am not like our OC Guru bro dblooi, brave enough to pump iced water directly into waterblock (i just soak the whole radiator into iced water rolleyes.gif )

The max speed 3.71GHz achieved at Vcore= 1.6V, Vdimm=2.3V, DDR2~1250MHz 5-5-5-5-12 (need to borrow 10th Anni Crucial from bro db liau tongue.gif )
refer the attached photo for detail.

Sorry I didn't attached CPU-Z screeny cos it keep on crashing with the Abit Guru program doh.gif
