I’m not sure. Simply because I’m proud to be a Malaysian kampung kia that made it and made it much better than any so called born Singaporeans.

But, at the end of the day, logic and pragmatism will dictate my decision. I will retire and with that, I may not be the kind of resident that interests Singapore anymore. But since a significant portion of my net worth is in Singapore, it makes sense to secure that with a conversion.

We will see.

Same here🙋‍♂️ a very true malaysian kampong kia myself, keeping my blue for my DC and resting place 🤭

Anyone got approved recently? Would like to know if the cabutan sijil lahir by JPN is sufficient for PR application without additional translation. Thanks in advance.

There are cases where ICA will accept it? Because I see sections in the cabutan sijil lahir is written in BM such as "WARGANEGARA" and "LELAKI". I'm worried because ICA requests for documents to be in English.

edit: corrected birth cert to cabutan sijil lahir

Then should be no issues, since the form is effectively bilingual. The important answers are language neutral. The irrelevant ones (Maklumat Tidak Berkenaan) don’t really matter.

at first gf use the birth cert with only BM, officer ask her to resubmit with the 1 with english. after that 2 months later it was approved.

the duration exactly 1 year with ep, apply last year jan after 6 months of working.

she didnt meet the current criteria for EP(but still able to renew EP 2 week before the PR) and all her saving is in my fd account...

What is MyCareersFuture.gov.sg?

MyCareersFuture.gov.sg (MCF) is a portal that aims to provide Singapore

Citizens and Permanent Residents with a free job search experience that

matches them to relevant jobs based on the jobseeker’s skills.

Luckily PR still have this privilege.

Now no more allowance for courses...

This year budget become zero....

Are
Singapore citizens aged 40 years
and above who are currently pursuing another full￾time diploma eligible for the funding support?

Yes, they will be eligible for the funding support for semesters commencing from Academic Year 2025 onwards.
