I’m not sure. Simply because I’m proud to be a Malaysian kampung kia that made it and made it much better than any so called born Singaporeans.

But, at the end of the day, logic and pragmatism will dictate my decision. I will retire and with that, I may not be the kind of resident that interests Singapore anymore. But since a significant portion of my net worth is in Singapore, it makes sense to secure that with a conversion.

We will see.

When I apply PR, my S pass still left 1 and half years.....

Why doesn't the letter of approval include these sentences?

My last S pass medical check-up was in August 2022. Does this mean I do not need to do a medical check-up for PR now.
If yes, I just take a photo at a photo-taking shop in Singapore and book the appointment date with ICA. I will bring my original birth certificate, educational certificates, and this letter to ICA.

It wasn't 3.5 back then .. it was about 1.5 only .. most would have preferred KL over Sg considering the living cost .. where things were much cheaper ..

Another factor would be the high influx of PRC and CECA ..

Oh my bad .. because what I could rmb is back then when I headed down to sg for vacation as a kid it wad 2+ .. was expecting about 1.5 during later 90s to early 00s .. guess myr was quite stable back then compared to now ..

And, used to hear "ma lao" very often but hardly nowadays .. but "JHK" is still common .. haha
