Actually I am answer this ...

Would like to know if the cabutan sijil lahir by JPN is sufficient for PR application without additional translation.
Yes.
I not yet receive result.still pending.

I hope i can get approve also...
*
at first gf use the birth cert with only BM, officer ask her to resubmit with the 1 with english. after that 2 months later it was approved.

the duration exactly 1 year with ep, apply last year jan after 6 months of working.

she didnt meet the current criteria for EP(but still able to renew EP 2 week before the PR) and all her saving is in my fd account...

update:

my PR was approved few days ago. i submitted my application last year aug.

i follow up with them about 2 months ago by email and have no issue using the BM version of my birth cert.

phew now dont need to renew my EP anymore as i might not get it due to the min salary requirement for my age.
it is so hard to get EP now and even harder for next year

Congratulations on your quick approval.

May I know if you sent it to this email address: ICA_PR@ica.gov.sg?
May I know if the follow-up email is about the salary increment and the three months' pay slip, or are you just asking about the progress of the application?
*
user posted image

yeah this email address. i just send to follow up application status only. my increment is not much only the standard 3% no point mentioning to them haha.

May I know if you receive notice of your PR approval by email, SMS, or SingPass?
*
By this email. Then have to login with singpass to check the status.

Hi bro,

Could you please tell me if you select the nearest available date for me?
I'm still nervous about the process and worried something might happen with my old company or the government.

I will be working on June 27, and the next available date for me to choose is July 1 (Monday) ( I do not work on Mondays )

I am planning to take medical leave on June 27.

Do appointment cancellations or date changes show up in the system every morning or at midnight?

I heard rumors that we might be able to choose an earlier date if we refresh the system every day after 12 a.m.

Thank you.

The time is not very important, right? I think after 2 p.m. should be okay.

I live in the north area, and the ICA building is in the south area of Singapore.
*
wow congrats and u progress so fast. i have just completed my medical check and it is quite fast also, i went on last thursday can get the report on friday already. i also just got my passport size photo in jb ytd, so now what is left for me is to book appointment with ICA and take leave to do it.

i rmb few months ago when my gf complete her pr formality, there is a note saying have to update covid vacination record somewhere. now i cant find that note already. do you have to update vacination record?

No choice.

All days is full booking by someone.

Do they still have that half day city tour option given to new PRs? I remember they took us on a history lesson around Singapore during my time some 25 to 30 years ago
*
dont have i think they expect us to learn from the internet now. haha

Who manages MediShield Life?
MediShield Life is administered by the Central Provident Fund Board on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
May I know how they know the  MediShield Life amount is not enough for her?

I thought everyone if just receive PR approval ,their account should be zero right?
*
not sure on this but my guess is that 5% contribution now is not enough to cover the yearly premium especially the cpf contribution will be split into a few accounts. next year premium they will deduct from CPF i think

she has to transfer 300+ to her medilife account.

When you take the collection slip from ICA to the post office to collect identity card, the fingerprint reader cannot read your thumbprint.

Maybe the post office uses a poor-quality fingerprint reader?
*
or mayb due to sweaty palm. last time when they take my thumbprint for EP card the officer had to take a few time coz my fingerprint is too wet haha.

Does that mean you can keep the EP or S pass and have your new blue IC at the same time?
*
actually the officer did inform me to pass the pass to my HR. Since i think they are gonna throw it away so i have decided to keep it myself. hahaha

1.00 Singapore Dollar = 1.13 Australian Dollars, so migrating to Australia is a good choice as well.
Enjoy your life in Australia with nicer weather, better transport, food, people, spaces, islands, mountain, air and beaches...
I think Singapore's population is increasing too fast, and the government needs to do more land reclamation by the sea. More and more space is needed.

Now the MRT is very crowded even non-peak hours and Woodlands customs are also packed.
Even on Sundays morning 10am, when I want to go back to JB, there are so many people queuing for buses 160/170/950 at Woodlands Custom.
*
i usually go to berth 12 to take 911, then walk from train checkpoint to woodland check point.

911 is much faster as it is within sg only, it has double deck with interval of 2-6mins during peak hr but u have to do abit of walking la.

atleast is better than 950 with 12 mins interval and have to wait for 2-3 bus before your turn.
