Congratulations on getting your PR approval! This is a big milestone for you.
Don’t worry too much about your girlfriend’s application—if you both decide to get married, you can sponsor her PR application as your spouse, which will significantly increase her chances.

Wishing you both all the best!

Thanks! Yeah we’re planning to do that later

After the 6 months waiting period, you can reapply for Singapore PR.

Later, if you successfully get married and your wife applies for PR successfully, please report back here again.

Haha!

Your spouse should be able to become a PR around the second quarter of 2025.

Many Malaysians go to work abroad like Singapore,UK,Australia,Canada,New Zealand,... because they want to earn a higher salary.

Malaysia has a high cost of living, high house prices, high food prices, high car prices, and the petrol price is expected to rise later.

Malaysia living cost is lower compared to the countries that you have mentioned. Just that the exchange rate is high, salary-wise they are similar.

And then they come to Malaysia to drive up landed price. The high prices are in part caused by this too. It’s not all of course but definitely play some role.

Yes that's the problem that most johorians are not seeing. They themselves are the ones driving the price up .. I would say maybe 10% affecting 90% of the population to pay more.

Many Singapore PR applications are successfully sponsored by spouses.

It is better if she has a job, even if she is a work permit holder.
