after that period? lower like 3% or 2% only

I treat it as an alternative to versa/KDI. If after 31 Aug less than 3.5% i can always duitnow to somewhere else to park my fund.

I just applied, although it says processing, if you try you can log in straight away with the login and password you created. Then just duitnow RM20 to the account and it will be activated. Everything done in less than 10 minutes.

Rize charge agency fee 0.01% in account product disclosure sheet, PDS
Bankcard RM10, first year free, 8 ATM withdrawals free monthly + 9th onwards : 0.50 each
Replacement card: RM12. Using other banks ATM / payment network may incur charge.

Pay Net transfer: RM5k free, exceeding 5k = 0.50 per transfer.
1800 call center but no branch counter transaction.
Applications are user approval to Rize on using personal data for marketing.

I did not see RM8 unlimited ATM withdrawals on PDS, and not bothered to verify.
My friend's application had tens of T&C pages to read but Rize claims they are transparent.

Also important if intending to use it as a high yield "parking" account - what are the online withdrawal limits, and is it as fast as normal bank Duitnow (instant)/IBG (same day)?

Having this problem in account opening does makes one wonder whether their app is properly secured and trouble-free to use in future.

I know a few ppl whose having this problems but on IOS

Yes it is the app problem with id recognition capture embedded with it failed 🤦‍♀️

It should be secured enough on the app but with the potential for them to cross sell your personal details don’t count it for it to be useful enough as a few have reported to received 3rd party marketing call after registering

I’m on iOS and everything was fine

Xander2k8 reported same problem with some IOS users.

Maybe too many applicants made it koyak.

Will try again tomorrow. Hope they resolve the issue quickly.

Not me having the issue but I know a few ppl with their iPhone having the issue

It seems like capture software problem end not fully integrated well with the app

The call centre requested for screenshots, and their technical team will look into it.

It seems the problem is my font size was too big.

If you are having the same problem as me, this can be adjusted in Phone. Settings => Display => Font Size.

After adjustment, you should be able to see the "Sign Up Now" box as in the image below:

The Duitnow transfer limit is RM50k.

Is there any way to withdraw funds in excess of RM50k, e.g. via Banker's Cheque or RENTAS OTC? There does not seem to be any information on this in the website.

I doubt Al Rajhi physical bank will entertain Rize, so either do it in multiple days of 50k or, just dont put too much loh.

Yeah. Anyway, hesitate to put too much into digital banking. But it would be nice to put say 100k in it as a parking account to earn FD-like rates, pending redeployment of funds when opportunity arises, instead of locking it up directly in FD. Great flexibility

Worth to check your font size setting. It might work if you reduce it.

Yesterday my account number in app was incomplete, displayed on 2 lines, and ending with ... last 3 digits not shown. After reducing the font by one size, the full number reappeared, on one line!

It appears that the design of the app is not canggih enough to adapt to suit larger font size, leading to information on the screen being cut off.

I don't have this problem with other bank apps, using the bigger font size. Their apps just reduce the font automatically to suit the screen display

Try logging in see if it works.

They also didnt advise me of account approved, but I went ahead to log in. After that funded RM20 successfully, and also could apply for debit card.

Done to sign up and pending for approval.
