If they dont offer a competitive rate after 31 Aug, almost all of us will transfer out our money to somewhere else devil.gif

Now with Rize promo, a lot of funds must have migrated from KDI. Is KDI gonna respond?

So far no news since they hit rm1 billion AUM as unlikely they would respond unless their AUM suddenly goes down to below rm900 million

Will Rize maintain to offer 4% after 31st August?

Didn’t you read the product disclosure sheet? The rate is similar to typical savings account.

Thanks for the answer.

I created an account and transferred money from TnG Duitnow, and it was successful, but then it got returned to my TnG account. Any idea what went wrong?

Think you have to transfer from another bank. They don’t recognize TnG as a bank.

most of my FD is 4% or more
some fd maturing soon and if no promo rate after mature will temporary park into Rize

I'm sorry to ask, but in that case, why not just put the money in a fixed deposit since they offer higher rates? Sorry, I'm not very familiar with financial products.

5% - RM5,000..rate higher than FD

4% - exceeding RM5,000..liquidity, depends on your need..FD normally lock u 6/9/12 months

FD also got promo rate and board rate
Now all promo rate drop below 4% so no choice but park in Rize which at least u get 4%
If promo rate don't come by end of May most likely I will take up Bank Islam 4.5% but again I don't like bank Islam because they very traditional and have to OTC for Promo rate

I was thinking of switching from KDI to Rize, but then I found out that I need to have a minimum of RM 100 for a savings account and RM 250 for an investment account.

I'm not sure if I remembered it wrongly or not, but I recall that when I signed up for KDI (either saving or investment account), the minimum amount required wasn't like what's stated now. Anyway, I already withdrew my money from KDI and put it into Rize.

Only FPX is allowed for the first time and once account is activated only Duitnow is able to use

FD is not as liquid until you break and withdraw the FD while losing the interest without the fulfilling the full term while Rize is high interest bearing savings account

Only if you want an active account in KDI the minimum is required

The minimum was there since day 1 but it is not stated Cleary by KDI 🤦‍♀️
