when scanning IC, try moving slowly up/down/left/right till all 4 lines at the edge light up.

because previously many cases $$$ being transfer without any notification....

this one at least they called u & ask?

so after they called. u said yes. transaction accepted?

The purpose is to capture the actual size of the ID πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ as mandated by BNM and the problems lies in the image capture recognition app that they use embed to it

If the debit card charge is a deal breaker to anyone, one way to test it would be to deposit a small amount now, but don't apply for the debit card yet, and see what kind of interest you get for April. According to the Amended T&C effective 20 March 2023:

"Profit earned from relevant Special Profit Rate will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s CMSA on the 1st of every month beginning on 1 March 2023".

So from the profit credited on 1 May 2023, the special profit rate applied can be derived.

Then you know what to do next.

even small transaction will call. large one lagi call for sure. their fraud detection team is really good from what i experienced.

Talking about fraud, how does bank verify that those fraudulent transactions are not done by the account holder? And how does the account holder prove that they didn't actually perform those transactions?

Because the app is using linked device these days hence they would know πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ together with TAC they can verify it easily

I prefer the convenience to withdraw cash from MBB ATM so I can just do instant transfer over. In hindsight, the Rize debit card will be charged at RM10 annually for subsequent year onwards and might be considered a small price to pay if their CS keeps up the exceptional service.

regardless of who made transaction they will call to be sure. that's the best way. no special detection.

Just call customer & ask only...

Basic Information to confirm if indeed the person have make transaction or not...

What makes you think that call is able to confirm the transaction? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Call can be spoofed and even personal details can be verified easily if the personal details is leaked out πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

The best way is triple factor authentication with device, TAC and Facial or thumb recognition in order to authenticate it properly

they call you and if calling you can be spoofed or intercepted then koyak ledi...if u call diff story..

Why on earth would you call unless you are unable to access the account πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

With AI tech advancement these days voice spoofing it is easily done and hardly for banks are able to detect it which is why linked device is being used now for a reason
