USB Package RM118/mth for 18 months (no clause stating that the usb modem is free, might need to return after the contract).... i think the RM100 registration fees is still applicable. You save RM20/month.

Oh well, if that's the case, for postpaid users, it is more worth it than the Celcom package.
*

does maxis have more hsdpa coverage than celcom? at my place using celcom3g i can hardly get hsdpa unless i go to the town centre..but in the maxis coverage map i can see my place is covered by hsdpa..does that mean residential homes which are nowhere near town area can get hsdpa? we always hear about celcom got more coverage, but is it coverage in terms of rural areas or in terms of hsdpa or both?
*
dun too worry abt which 1 wider covrg, since u not FedEx need to travel nationwide.
see wat u hv at ur area den take wat... icon_rolleyes.gif

many cust asked me:

will it disconnect suddenly?
confirm can get 3.6Mbps?

i dun blame them if they r not aware whr they stand is in Msia, even they go4 other provider oso no promise for it. nod.gif

Maxis agent loves to trap their customers. I was there and I told them off straight that , the service sucks and all the ports are blocked. So yeah there you go. No choice now , I'm using it as its easier for me to travel from one place to another
*
mind ur words.
all sales are working for living, i knw some are totally duno wat is 3G, as they r oli part timer.
who u scolding to maybe is juz a part timer fm dealer, if u really wan2 complain juz proceed to MCMC or Maxis CEO.

pls make urself used to broadband in Msia is as it, else u may choose move2 Spore or Japan, if really 'constant' internet is ur life.

1 thg advantage of maxis BB is no need tel line, so compared to streamyx or celcom is cheaper.
for non-BT and non-gamer user, normal online experience with cheap price, maxis BB is currently best choice in market. nod.gif

sometimes duno expect salesman can tell u the whole story, unless u juz buying a dvd, den the ah peng really can tell u the story inside biggrin.gif

when u dealing with somethg technical, normally i dun expect they can tell me much, all we need find out ourself or test b4 sign on. anyw within 7days still can cancel it if network really got problem...

i encountered an auntie, she ask izit really can try 7days 4 free den return back Maxis? juz cant tahan her, den i said if maxis find out her place really has service, den she cant cancel oh~ den she faster run away tongue.gif

real story is when maxis BB 1st lunch, thr is free trial 1 mth b4 sign on.
end up >50% application are returned.
so nowaday we trying filter out ppl who like take advantage of free trial. ^^

i just went to the celcom branch just now to ask about their usb modem package, we need to pay rm900+ for the usb modem and rm98 monthly. The modem need to pay one time. So i think i will stick to maxis broadband since i dont have money to pay the usb modem in lump sum.
*
my maxis BB selling point vs celcom BB is:

A - celcom BB rm98
B - maxis BB rm138

after 1.5 yr
A -
modem no more warranty
if modem spoiled, loss rm1000
if modem din spoil, market maybe selling rm300-400 oli, ur 2nd modem oli worth rm200, loss 800
++ u paid rm1000 1-shot, no installment plan for ur modem tongue.gif

B -
max u loss rm40 x 18 = rm720
if u sign up during PC fair, 1st 3mths rm85 den rm118, max u loss rm260 (rebate rm460) icon_rolleyes.gif

^^just check in maxis website bro
i think maxis very bad, don't register for 98 this very stupid if you register for 98.
because maxis never gives me this speed, and i think no one get 3,6mbps this only marketing words...

maxis CS very bad, i already complain with email, and didn't get any respon from maxis,
sorry for my bad english...thanks..
*
if u believe any 1 can provide 3.6Mbps, i think urself oso got problem.
so far never see any telco can provide full 3.6Mbps 3G broadband in the world.

rm98 u shld expect speed is more than rm78 (640kbps and above) not full speed 3.6Mbps. nod.gif
