Hi guys just to let you know i might be hard to reach this week as both Demon and Angel appear to be sick (abnormal poop, bacteria present sad.gif )
I went to the vet today and i have some rather complicated medication dosages and special diet to handle for them this week.
Those of you who i owe wheels don't worry i haven't forgotten!
I may still be able to COD for you this week but i hope you can understand if i have to delay it.
Spare a thought for Demon and Angel so they can have a speedy recovery

why cannot be ffed everyday?
mine i feed everyday.A spoon per day and wheels for her to run
u afraid of obesity right?
just put some wheels and they run like hell
They doesn't very like light so mostly they will active at night
If u using zoo zone ,no need to worry cos she cannot climb out
hope both of them can recover well and happy go lucky again =]

i thought u're planning to have suggie? wan to have hedgehog too? laugh.gif
hedgehog is much more easier to handle than suggie... they need time to bond but not as much as suggie.
I mean, for hedgehog... other than time to bond they just like to be left alone but of course it doesnt mean after u bond wif them u can leave them alone, u still have to spent at least 30 minutes each day to play wif them... =]

i think it's safe to say everyone here feed their hedgehogs daily. one spoon of kibbles should be enough, and like what mamata said if you're afraid of obesity then put a wheel in the tank, your hedgehog will surely run and poop in it every night.

it's normal for them to come out in the night, mine's extra active after 12, he'll come out and walk around, run on the wheel, finish the food, and poop all over the place. occasionally i'll check on him and turn on the lights, he'll stop whatever he's doing and head straight back to his hidebox. don't worry about it.wink.gif

i think if you really love the pet you won't find it any hard to take care of it. it's definitely easier to take care compared to dogs or cats, it's just the case of whether you enjoy washing the wheel everyday or not...wink.gif

if you're asking us i'm sure everyone of us think hedgehogs are great pets to have, so we're a little bit biased here.smile.gif

@cim,

hope your hedgehogs get well soon, keep us updated on anything regarding their health.

i tot u said u wanna buy a gp oso..
waaa hedgie, gp and suggie at one time.. kaya, kaya..
hedgie is ok for me.. just feed him a spoonful of kibbles twice daily then sometimes give him mealies for treats..
change the bedding once a week..
it's getting a bit hard when u buy it a wheel la.. then need to clean it everyday..
other than that everything seems ok with me..
