QUOTE(bahjan_2000 @ Oct 16 2022, 11:41 AM) Yea while some does want it, on normal days, I can get around 50mbps+ just fine on 4G, and since I don't do any heavy use, that's more than enough for me. Volte is absolutely necessary though, due to my line of work. And I do take a lot of photos of my kids nowdays, having a Pixel camera would be nice - my prev 4A works fine, but I needed volte and bigger screen ( getting old cant see lol) Just saw your edited comment on 64bit app..Might get my self a 7 by early next year, if the Dec patch supports the big 3 telco volte. Edit : Err just read about Pixel 7 only runs 64bit apps, isn't that... trouble? I admit I have no idea on this The Google Play Store has required all apps to have 64-bit support since August 2019, and it also stopped serving 32-bit apps without 64-bit support. You won’t easily find a 32-bit app these days. We can think of just one 32-bit-only app: Flappy Bird, which was a fad for a short period of time. Download and use AppChecker on Play Store, you can filter apps by architecture to see if you have 32-bit apps installed cruzzmz liked this post

Granted, I don't have that many apps nor I play games on my phone, but when I said that Google adds the 64bit Playstore app requirement in a discussion about how the Pixel 7 will not support 32bit app, I was.. dragged down upon, saying this is not Apple, that many people still use 32bit app etc etc.. Think it was the Pixel facebook group. Might be wrong. Not like I really understand the pros and cons etc etc, but still... hmmmmm. Anyway that's one more less stuff to worry about. Just need confirmation whether it'll support the big 3 Volte for good. This post has been edited by bahjan_2000: Oct 17 2022, 05:23 PM |

This YouTuber review of the pixel 7 pro (https://youtu.be/U6j6ahfIHkM), If you forward to the 20 mins mark, you can see that he is using Digi and there is VoLTE option in the settings! This post has been edited by spayre: Oct 17 2022, 05:49 PM Vanquish_08 liked this post

another youtube review on VoLTE and 5G (7min 50 sec) onwards. Claimed that it is supported out-of-the-box, no need beta builds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls0layMLMZw cruzzmz liked this post
