I broke my centre left side one first day (the up-down one). Seems a lot of folks have had these broken on FB TBH. I wanna blame my aircon vent mount, but I've used it on multiple cars before with zero issues, so maybe its just the vent's crappy design (three tiny plastic pegs to keep it in place) cry.gif

I wonder if can claim with SC for my 1k service, say "tiba2 patah" laugh.gif

how to ask the SA to expediate the process? mine already 6 months still no news.

Don't know man. While I got my car comparatively fast, I wouldn't say it was without any drama.

I'm thinking P2's distribution system is... whack... and it does take a good, rajin SA with lots of experience to be able to navigate the system's... shortcomings. I guess aiming for a smaller dealer in the middle of nowhere (but still in the Klang Valley) also helped somewhat.

But yeah, try calling/emailing/generally annoying P2 Central. Also I've heard some folks have resorted to going "Open Colour" and even "Open Varient" for their cars, which have helped (some of) them get their cars quicker.

Link to the adaptor? Anything 3D printed even if out of stock can try to obtain the file and print at one of the numerous printing services locally.
*
It also includes a custom circuit board, so those might be a bit harder to fabricate. Unless you're really good with electronics, coz I think the maker did share the circuit schematics somewhere.

At this point I'm thinking going wireless adapter is much easier, so I do have one of those dongles on the way. Will update later if the thing works okay.

Sos is HERE

Pic is not mine ... its from a fb group ... very clear pic that shows the weak point. (Edit: To be fair, the owner did say its broken by the fler doing a car wash. Rough handling la.)

My VIOS 2005 ... the middle aircon vents lost friction already in 2020 ... but it is still intact, not broken or fallen off. Put some thick tape to diy some friction back into it so the vent can hold its position.

No physical manual and service booklets. download the pdf copy of manual from P2 web and read it. https://eownersmanual.perodua.com.my/

for service booklets you can keep all the receipts for reference later. if you install ufirst app, you can check all the history of your service.

Oh ya, your P2 salesperson should have shared and guide you on all these as well as the ufirst app.

You are welcomed... has been a while on this online manual already, you can also download existing model if needed.. one more reason is that many did not even know there is a owners manual or not reading it. just my thought.

For service booklet.. last time we bring our service booklet there.. they chop chop.. but now no need. just bring the car. All records avail.

Last time one of my friends asked and i replied him.."have you read the manual? RTFM first, if not clear then only ask.." hehehe

Ya.. I saw this too... some has the mobile phone holder that slot into the fin, which is possible risk.

Some maybe if a kid trying to get out from the car, they might place their right hand near the AC vent too.. so just be aware.

prefer not sanding. wipe with white vinegar.
just rm2 cheapest cuka from 99 mart or super market (read ingredient is acid +water only)
dont buy yeos cuka got added karamel.

then touch up with any paint even marker pen will do.

the karat i heard:
1. on the seat hinges.
2. on the lower arm and rear 'trailing bar'.

seat hinges, I have not check as mostly folded down. I have to check next time I wash the car. One more way to settle the rust is to apply rust converter. Just apply using small paint brush.. just a suggestion.

Lower arm, i can see my axia and old Alza has it too, seems normal. But for trailing arm, it is not good.. last time when checked during installing anti roll bar, i don't see rust. will have to check again.
