QUOTE(zroter @ Jul 9 2024, 02:27 PM) my saga 2024 is stock on 185/55/15, i want to change to 205/45/17, what are your thoughts? and what about 195/50/16? 1st of all, you need to worry is the sport rim offset. A lot of sport rim in market is not for Saga and after fit will hit the fender when fetching heavy load or people. After that mechanic/tire shop will scam you to change aftermarket sport suspension/spring/buffer stuff and even more money wasted for mods to keep your sport rims. 2nd is the tire diameter. Did you check using tire size comparison? There is a golden rule of not over +/-3% from original diameter as it will impact speedometer and suspension settings. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ What the reason of changing bigger sport rim? Untuk gaya? Bro, your engine only 1.3L and fuel gonna price up soon. If want better stability in corners, get wider/lighter 15inch sport rim and fit 195/50/R15, this size is more common and cheaper to change. BTW if your ride is new and still going back to SC to service, changing other sport rim and tire size can impact your warranty especially suspension & gearbox related. Better keep your original tires and rims, if anything happen need to revert back original before go claim warranty. Tire diameter tolerance above 3% (5%) I agree with Littlefire's comment. 195/50R15 tire is more common. This used to be the stock tire size for Saga FLX SE. Lightweight flowforming wheels from Advanti would do. |

Whats the average do you drive that made u feel that the tires were not up to your requirements? Im jst daily to and fro from office. Dont really go past 100. I give you a few examples. Take it with a pinch of salt as I was using VP3. VP4 should have a slight improvement over VP3:Should I sell them off? 1. Tire spin from stop & go, on wet road. 2. When cornering, even during not so high speed between 60~80 km/h, there were incidences of tailspin (oversteer) on wet roads. If you do high speed cornering, for sure gonna have oversteer. 3. High risk of aquaplaning when drive over puddles. 4. Very noisy tire. Slow or fast. The faster you go, the higher the noise. One of my cars are still using this tire. 235/50R18. Only 14k km driven with this tire. At the moment, this tire really limits the enjoyment of driving that car. I have to keep using this tire until botak or until I cannot tahan anymore. Decision is up to you. You can try experience yourself. For me, I will not be using this tire brand series anymore. FYI, latest test VP4 is even more quiet than Primacy 4. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2024-Mo...r-Tyre-Test.htm Comfort Bridgestone produced the highest noise level at 73.3 dB, while Hankook was the quietest at 71.2 dB during the pass-by noise test I believe every new generation for sure got improvement, i will still go for VP4 if given a good value. Only weakness from the test the comfort level is just average. gerald7 liked this post

I went for this cos saw a few recommended in my car whatsapp group. probably give it a go, if not up to expectations then sell to my friend |

Ive changed tyres yearly, been using many types. I guess u need high end type then, like Ps4/5 to suit ur type. Even when I use pS4 also spin, but better in wet of course. |

When read on forum, FB group, similar review for this specific tyre, UC6, almost all annoying with this Wet grip. No 4, it excel cz quiet. And at 8k km after change, botak at side even with proper alignment done.1. Tire spin from stop & go, on wet road. 2.
