Fellas, I got RM1,480 off the car for Merdeka + RM1K from the SA.
The thing is, scout around, some even say they top up "personal discount", and it's a good thing, coz year-end oredi ma... some more their quota or sales target oredi achieve, so Honda Malaysia, I heard, also gives them (The Dealer) incentives... 
So as long as the Sales Manager feels that your enquiry & interest is genuine, no reason for not giving further discount, given their said position...
So, IMHO, the key is:
1. Scout around
2. Know what you want, i.e.: color, variant (IDSI or VTEC)
3. Know the current situation elsewhr
4. If you are an inconsiderate A**H*LE like me...  - bring along the tabulation (the piece of paper whr the SA writes down the loan calculations, the d/p, the no. of mths, etc...) and ask the other SA to match that...
Chances are, you may walk away with ot just a new car (not: free car) + more than just a key chain, TNG Card, Petrol Vouchers, Tinting, Honda Cap, Honda Water Tumbler, etc...

I was wondering if any of u guys experience a 'soaring' sound wen taking corners?
I hope it's not the bearings or the wheel bush...
And also, my 5K km service will be due very soon...
Anythg special to watch out for, or anythg I should ask the SC fellas to keep an extra eye on?
Consumption is about RM0.17 / km, KL driving, with the ocassional Smart Tunnel & jams...
Is this normal for a VTEC???

Asked bout the door visor (i hope that's wat they're called) - you know, the plastic thingy which keeps the rain out wen u lower ur windows while driving - and the fella quoted me RM145.00 for the set.
Malaysian made for factory, he said, not from China...
Anyone knows if I can find this thing cheaper elsewhere???

he means, do u "press" hard" while driving, as this tends to promote higher FC aka heavy right foot

   

stev, remember the RPM does control ur FC 

try drive as gentle as u can, maintain low RPM u'll c the different

low rpm doesn't meant that you'll get better FC
drive with the right gear at the right speed.
you can manually use 7th gear and start from 0 if you like, confirm low rpm (and car can't move)
drive at the right speed. constant at 90km/h has better FC than constant 80km/h with the same distance.

i made some inquiries to the honda sc about the door visor, he told me after install that visor will get noisier wind noise
then i decided not to install it anymore.
anyone here installed the visor and get lower wind noise?

I also don't buy the Honda Campaign that the i-DSi gets 22.6+km/l, which translates to less than 8sen/km...
Wind noise with visor? Can it really get lower with the visor, or, nothing significantly different?
U know, it gets really useful wen u're driving on the highway & get sangap for a smoke in the car...

That's quite high in normal standards @ 11km+/L imho..

but it all depends on driving style and drive condition. your FC will be good if you tend to make long journeys, at constant speed (i.e hiway), but will indeed rack up if you make a lot of short distance trips, before the engine can properly heat up (i.e <20km). Dont expect great FC if you tend to travel short distances a lot.

and yeah.. 26.2km/L is damn BS to me, unless its 100% hiway @ 60km/h, for i-dsi the best i got on a 100% hiway trip (35L) was a mere 22km/L @ 80-110km/h, with the occasional 7speed stints .
