May I know if it really worth it to go the hassle of chasing dealer to get it resolved everyday? What feature does Honda connect for HRV offers if you don't mind to share.

google Honda Connect
or
visit Honda Malaysia

It has a lot more things...

but after 3 years how much monthly/yearly?

This afternoon I found out that got scratches on my rear wheel bumper vmad.gif
I checked recorded videos in my dashcam and found out that this jerk with plate number BNE7183 is the one who scratched my car yesterday.
His just drove passed the narrow gap between two cars and scratched my car with front bumper!
Actually my car was stopping and waiting inside the lane for traffic light to turn green, really no idea like this can also got scratched!
Anyone encountered this before? How u resolve it? Just got the car two weeks ago!

Unknown how much it would cost as they have not announced it. Honda City was the first to receive this back in early 2021, so the earliest we would know is probably late 2023.

Just drive it a few rounds and it should be available, provided that your dealer had keyed in the info into the system. That's what my dealer told me. I collected my car on Saturday, on Sunday it became available already.

Glad that I'm not the only one that is missing out on the feature during car retrieval.
Curious how these feature can be activated remotely through the apps, does it mean the car itself has these module connected to the internet all the time. mega_shok.gif

2 days and it still haven't connected so far. Still waiting.

BTW to reconfirm, the roll down window feature using the Key Fob is missing in HRV right? Civic FE has that. Also no RCTA in Honda Sensing.

nope. until the day HM decide to drop LaneWatch for BSM, there will be no RCTA as well. As usually RCTA uses the same radar for BSM

Weirdly enough, they did a 'limited edition' for the previous HRV called HRV SE where they retrofitted BSM to it, so it comes with RCTA

Are there OEM aftermarket solutions for Front Parking Sensor and BSM (on the A pillar inside like X70) for the new HRV?

I took my HRV turbo two weeks ago, as now I enjoy every single ride on this car. my feedbacks as follow:

Pro:
- Acceptable fuel consumption: average 13.6km/L (50% city, 50% highway)
- Acceleration is good thumbsup.gif
- NVH is good (compare to my other cars)
- Handling is good for suv
- Nice exterior & interior (I like the simple dashboard design)
- Great active safety features (Honda Sensing), tested most of the features except CMBS & LSF

Cons:
- Suspension a bit stiff
- No BSM (blind spot monitoring)
- Low reverse camera resolution
- Only 4 adults in the car, middle rear seat not suitable for adult
*

Comparing with X50, which handling is better? Agreed that the suspension is a bit stiff (Mine is V spec), maybe that's the reason for better handling?

Use it's hotspot WiFi connection instead of Bluetooth connection and select Auto Join. CarLinKit 4.0 works best with iPhone. Speed is fantastic and close to zero lag (perhaps half a second). Connection from cold start takes anywhere between 20-30 seconds only.

Is very tiny actually not really that big. leave it somewhere where ventilation is accessible. Don't hide it as the heat will cause the system to hang.

So apparently my Honda Connect has been activated since day 2. But since I didn't turn on my car due to work from home, its pending ignition to get the sim activated.
(as shared by my SA)

Means there is an attached sim in the car, and yeah as isr25 mentioned, it is valid for 3 years only as seen in the image and the date started from when the sim is activated.

----

Other than that, while I was fiddling with the setting I notice that walk away auto door lock was disabled by default. I thought this feature was not available at all.

For handling, I can say is comparable. But I noticed lesser body roll in HRV when cornering, probably due to its stiffer suspension.

Its super small. Since it works only on the right side usb, I used glue tag and stick it on the side panel near to the foot rest.

There is small lag, of course usb connection is better, but having it wireleslly auto connect in 30s of ignition is just so convenient.

I have ordered 70mai tpms lite. Any suggestion on the best place to put it. Some say not to put on the dashboard, as prolonged exposure to sun can damage the plastic housing. Thoughts?
