oh, i currently driving my sister jazz hybrid (GK), i guess yours is the older 1 gen right?
heated side mirror not a problem to me, my 10 years old forte have it too but it only activate when i turn on front defogging.
another reason i consider HRV is because its a JDM model, design in japan ..... city, vios, cross, all design outside japan
JDM is a very misleading term nowadays
JDM should only refer to models that are sold in Japan only and not other countries
anyway Cross is also sold in Japan, and also in major markets eg: Europe and US. But their Cross is far more superior than us when it comes to spec (multi link rear suspension, Dynamic Force drivetrain)

Sorri ler…X5 ‘s front light beam is original ler and it’s more blinding than those modified one. Can’t have everything la…ACC also not available in some of the high end cars like bmw and mercs ler. I don’t hear many owners complaints .
majority will tell you driving a Merc and BMW is different from driving a Honda

Driving is great. Super quiet most of the time like an eV. I have driven almost 120km but mostly 1 to 2 passengers. Haven't driven with full capacity. Mostly done City driving and stop and go traffic. ACC LSF is real fun, but the braking can be a little intense sometimes.
One very underrated feature is VGR steering. It's phenomenal and super useful in most driving conditions.
Honda sensing is top notch.
Yet there's still no RCTA and BSM. For our ASEAN Honda's anyway
Overseas starting to move back to BSM and they come with RCTA

Just a refresher on how Honda's i-MMD system works. It doesn't have a gearbox despite the 'eCVT' naming. The engine + electric motor combo directly drives the front wheels (and the rear as well in some models which have a rear electric motor). Low speeds below 80km/h ideally should be electric motor running only, the engine will only kick in at higher speeds or to recharge the battery. In summary it should offer very good efficieny at lower speeds but will lose out a bit in power during high speeds (as in the case of City RS). Its the closest we get to a series hybrid system here, until Tan Chong decides to bring in Nissan's ePower models here. (Can google about 'series hybrid system' if you want to understand more)
The main concern is a major component which is the clutch that decouples or couples the electric motor with the petrol engine. There's reported incidents that this clutch tend to fail leading to a power loss. Not sure if such cases is reported here yet because before HRV there's only City RS using i-MMD
Personally I am waiting for the 2.0 i-MMD in the Civic Hybrid to arrive here, that should be good enough for a C segment even when the battery is running low
Comparison with Toyota's THS and Nissan's ePower
电机 - electric motor 发动机 - petrol engine 发电机 - power generator 逆变器 - power converter 电池 - battery 离合器 - clutch
Here's a good article comparing the 3 hybrid systems. Only in chinese unfortunately

We only guess by comparing the tested capability, feel like UMW is not that transparent. Maybe more confident way is ask the service manager directly.
Otherwise, check if the ACC (DRCC) do self centering. Not lane departure, but actively steer the car maintaining it at the center of the lane. I think Toyota call it LTA. If it do that it is at least TSS 1.1 with extra patch (learned such thing exist from Taiwanese review), if not TSS 2.0.
But to differentiate 1.1+ with 2.0, that's a bit harder. Most obvious upgrade is able to detect more type of objects and different angle of the object during intersection, but those are not easy to test.
Apparently TSS 2.5, 3.0 also exist. Lol, we are still UMW old tech dumping ground after all.

im not sure whether I'm just getting used to it by now or that its really due to break-in of the suspension.
So basically when I got the car, odo at 30km+- I felt like the suspension is a bit stiffer than my expectation whenever going through speed bump or pot holes. Now that it has reaching 400km mark, I think its smoother than initially is and felt more comfortable than before
Am I the only felt this?
Could be your tyre pressure?
