I saw one YouTube SA having road show at Aeon Shah alam saying E spec got ready stock. Wtf!

Arrive means they are gonna allocate chasis number to you and u are required to pay the downpayment. So if you decide not to proceed then request to cancel and not pay the downpayment

Look like Honda Malaysia production now focus on non Hybrid model.

Or is it I want to have it by 31/12/2022 or 31/10/2022 or any dates your have mentally set for it.

I can only share my experience, when i booked a new car last year-end, the SA (not Honda btw) ask me to get the car faster , I say no hurry. I was trading in my old ride, and he have said you trade in faster will fetch higher value mah if not next year lower trade in, I was not moved.

I told him if can make it CNY, cannot make it nvm.

In the end of the day, he arranged for Carsome to view and inspect my old ride and I only hand over my old ride towards end of Jan 2022 to Carsome (all completed ) and I was without ride for weeks before my new car arrive.


If this is your first car, I can understand your excitement, however don't get caught up in the euphoria of the moment.

If this your replacement ride, also learn to adopt `look I have done what I have done, i.e. book before SST) , I will leave this matter to the seller who would be more eager to complete the sales . I don't need to respond in kind if I don't want to.

You still have the upper hand, don't worry, it is just HRV, there are others coming along end of the year or next year. I have waited for so long, I think i can wait for a year more or two, right?

So my advise to Not cancel the booking , don't give in , hold your ground.

Been seeing quite a few people collecting their cars already. I wonder when they placed booking

Before Honda officiates the booking in June, I heard some SA are collecting booking for the HRV as early April/May.

I booked on 10th May and confirmed on the spec mid of June. But up till now SA keep saying still haven't got any official allocation for his showroom yet, only know ETA in 2 - 4 month 🥲

Simple la! If cannot deliver by October, fark them la. There are better car to cum by! For me… X1, if AB give goot discount.lol

What variant you book? If you book RS, may need to wait as I saw all the cars collected are not RS.

2.53% for 95k, 7y loan for both Maybank & Affin. I heard AmBank & CIMB is offering lower rates

Yes from what i heard, RS spec delivery will be later than the turbo variants as Honda is focusing on the turbo variants since it accounts the bulk of the orders placed.

mine's 2.48%, 90k, 7 years by Hong Leong. Then I found out my friend bought City Hatchback V spec back in May, his interest rate is only 2.21% from Maybank. Damn.

welp... I guess i'm in for a long wait

Hi guys, I have a question...
so my loan is approved last week, but haven't signed (banker seems to be taking her time). Assuming I've signed it today, and assuming the LOU is 90 days, and assuming the dealer is unable to allocate a car for me within the 90 days, I'll have to "re-apply" the loan right. In this situation, will the bank stick to the original interest rate, or will it change?
