A real rest of patience is needed for those who really want this car, the question is that is this model really you waiting for a year for it to arrive???

Do you have the money, if i were to point you to HRV ready stock?

Can get the car asap.

Are you ready?

i would really want to know what will the car industry be by end of the year. Nearly all carmaker have problem delivering cars. issues like depreciation and also long wait of the car will definitely effect the sales.
*
Malaysia car annual sales is somewhere 550k.

Even during covid 2021 it is still 500k.

Waiting period will not hurt much. Economic crisis will.

Head room in rear seat is disappointing and a deal breaker for me. It was better in the previous model and even then, I find it tight. I'm 5' 9".

Also RS model does not come with full sized spare tyre. The only reason for me not to consider the RS.

The vehicle is just nice for 2 adults and 2 kids.

A niche product which is the most powerful suv below 180k

Even hybrid is one with highest torque among its class and weight 250nm for 1400kg.

Below 200k it is the 2nd most powerful SUV .

The most powerful suv below 200k would be cx-5 2.5turbo awd.

Lets see what will test drive reveals brows.gif

Since it is the same price as the new civic, can't think of a reason why people wouldn't choose Civic over this. Because of the ride height?

I wonder how the booking really works.

We place a booking so that we will be in the queue, then suddenly got SA to advertise that they had ready stock and can deliver by month.

I understand it could be due to the one who placed the booking cancelled or being unable to secure a loan but it doesn't seem fair for those who actually place the booking to be in a queue right?

Why not that 'ready stock' car moved to the one that is in the queue instead?

SA informed my wife’s car (v-spec) has arrived, but her loan is still waiting to be approved by the bank. Not sure why but it’s taking a bit of time… most likely can get it by next week biggrin.gif

There are many SUVs (less than RM180k) in the local market that have higher Power and higher Torque than HRV.

-Hyundai Kona 1.6T
-X70 1.8

X70 is too heavy

Kona is indeed the most powerful one.

HRV comes in second

Few months ago, but SA/Dealer keyed in the order 40min when the official Honda order queue system was opened for HR-V. Never changed the spec too.
