can already imagine the let-down answer, "please read the fine line before agreeing to subscribe", conveniently forgetting that provider can and had unilaterally modified TnC even if we no longer agree to the amendments and at the same time tied to contract.

That's why we need to complain. I believe that companies would put whatever tnc that they think they deserved but not necessary right. Just complain and see. I already filed for termination and there's absolutely no reason not to pro rate the charges. I have been using it for years and not under contract anymore.

If you're talking about switching to a different ISP (IE from TM to Maxis), not possible

last last read don't remember how long ago; TM was supposedly not ready yet while other fixed-line operators are.
