QUOTE(westlife @ Feb 25 2023, 12:02 AM) can ah. it is mesh wifi router. They also gave me 2 units when I switch from Maxis back to Unifi. Just want to be sure as I am afraid that it would be like OneMesh, you have to use extender instead of another router.i wonder how is the performance? if i can get another new unit of it, i also would like to try to make it mesh for my home use. i only have one unit now from my recent switch to SWU 2.0. Been only few days, performance seem decent. My old Archer AX73 have better wireless performance for sure, I could get around 55MB/s file transfer between my desktop and phone while it would barely reach 30MB/s with EX3220-T0. |

Been only few days, performance seem decent. My old Archer AX73 have better wireless performance for sure, I could get around 55MB/s file transfer between my desktop and phone while it would barely reach 30MB/s with EX3220-T0. i am using linksys wifi 5 mesh now, can get decent signal and speed upstairs but hopefully to use something even better. wah. 55MB/s. that's very good. i can only get 5 to 8MB/s at most for my linksys wifi 5 mesh. dun know what is the prob becos for internet i can get full speed of 300Mbps no prob. but LAN transfer between the devices connected to the same wifi LAN, i can only get such low speed. so is the EX3220-T0 has good 5GHz range? my current linksys one is just normal for 5GHz range tot maybe switch to wifi 6 will get better range. |

May I know how the Transfer ID and Stay With Unifi works?
As I was enquiring Maxis about transfer from pre-existing Streamyx to Maxis Fiber, under the interim period where we are having fiber offer from Unifi to compel us to change to Fiber, Maxis agents does not say anything about so called 6 months free offer etc rather they just presented the basic rm89 30mbps package. They were also clueless about whether we should end Unifi/Streamyx account first before jumping to Maxis. |

QUOTE(surianti @ Feb 26 2023, 05:18 PM) May I know how the Transfer ID and Stay With Unifi works? I believe this is to win back TM Unifi customers to stay with them instead of switching to another telco. Not to switch from Streamyx. To get on the SWU program, I think you'll have to migrate to Unifi fibre first. |

QUOTE(surianti @ Feb 26 2023, 05:18 PM) May I know how the Transfer ID and Stay With Unifi works? Existing Streamyx to Unifi or Maxis fibre is a different story. Should you decide to go for Unifi, TM will terminate your Streamyx upon successful installation of Unifi. You can also choose to migrate existing landline number to Unifi if you need it. However if you choose to go for Maxis fibre, you should keep the Streamyx line until Maxis fibre installed, then only go to Tmpoint to terminate Streamyx. Staywithunifi is to prevent existing Unifi users from jumping over to another ISP, thus locking them with 2 years contract. This post has been edited by YoungMan: Feb 26 2023, 09:27 PM |

Hey guys, anyone here using Firewalla with their unifi network? How has it been? Was the setup straightforward?
I’m quite interested in it because it seems much easier to set up than a dedicated pfsense box |
