Instead of introducing a new plan, it would be better if they updated the prices for all the current internet plans Really miss Gobind Singh.....

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Feb 3 2023, 06:22 AM) Yes its 2023 and they still encourage people to use 30mbps internet... Vast majority of consumers won't use more than 30mbps even with multi-device. Heaviest bandwidth consumption (besides downloads) max at 5-8mbps for video or video calling per device. Having fixed broadband even at 30mbps is still a huge upgrade over FUP-constrained mobile broadband or even worse copper line internet. The purpose is to expand to more/most households, if you want higher speeds for some reason then its okay to pay for it, you're not the target market.

It's still early of 2023 so not expecting much but hopefully they focus more on International routing issues to be fixed first since that is more of a concern. Once that's settled, maybe possible? expect better pricing? I know some people being picky but overall it is a slow growth anyways. Even on Unifi 300Mbps RM129 now, looking back at my old 100Mbps Unifi RM99 (Student package) speed. It is sufficient with even 5 people but at least each person has more bandwidth compared to 30Mbps. It is the same case for those getting higher speeds. You pick and choose what's your requirement, if budget tight, 30Mbps is sufficient but then just longer wait time. Those that can afford 100, 300, 500 and 800Mbps ... well, they can already afford it (although still the usual bitching about price a bit lol). I think they will not intervene with free market forces as much as possible.

It is a distasteful and unpleasant marketing stunt by TIME. It makes fun of poor people. Everyone know TIME only covers those high end / rich people area.

It should be lowest speed either from 100mbps or 300mbps. If 100mbps is RM69, then nothing to comment about it. Can see that they don't want to improve further for internet speed. OR the gomen want to compare the speed from Yemen country under 4G speed up to 3.1MB only.. It's a joke..
