You misunderstood the 6mth upgrade part.

Let's say you switch from current lower speed to next level speed

• all upgrades gets a new 24mths contract
• upgrade price remains even after end of new contract
• those who switch up to 100Mbps, gets to enjoy promotional 300Mbps speed in the first 6mths
• those who switch up to 300Mbps, gets to enjoy promotional 500Mbps speed in the first 6mths
• those who switch to 500Mbps, gets to enjoy promotional 800Mbps speed in the first 6mths

damn. i suddenly feels disgusted re-reading what i posted. why am i doing sales pitch?

ah ok got it, so currently my package is 500mbps and I am paying RM 200 monthly, based on the package, i got its pretty pointless to upgrade right?

if you are already paying exactly RM200, then what benefit do you get for paying additional RM8 (without tv pack)? or additional RM18 (with tv pack)?

that will depend on your own analysis whether beneficial or not.
maybe you don't have a tv pack before and this little upgrade gives to a tv pack and an android-variant unifi plus box to go.

(if subscribed separately; ultimate tv pack is RM60 and plus box is RM20.)

wanna ask, example,
If I take the upgrade plan from 100Mb to 300Mb, after first 6 months 300Mb, the speed will revert back to 100Mb?

Nope

If your current speed is 100mbps, and then you want to upgrade the speed to 300mbps,
then you will be given 500mbps speed for 6 months. The next month will revert to 300mbps

No. There is no returning to your previous speed. (unless you change to a different speed plan, again).

If you upgrade to 300Mbps, then you will be getting 300Mbps from this point onward. But in addition to that, as part of THIS campaign, you'll also be getting a temporary increase to 500Mbps just for the first 6mths.

If you upgrade to 500Mbps, then you will be getting 500Mbps from this point onward. But in addition to that, as part of THIS campaign, you'll also be getting a temporary increase to 800Mbps just for the first 6mths.

I got DLink X1860Z. I think customize lite version for unifi.
Retail version doesn't have Z prefix and different shape.

But dem.. the router doesn't have holes for mounting.. 🤦😒

My home case like this

Currently is 300m with ruby, on bill is 159+tax

So to take the offer can only take 500m or 800m? Cannot take offer of same price and same speed 159+mesh/tv box or so? If want cheaper on bill is not available unless transfer request?

My existing contract already long over with perpetual monthly fee of rm129 for 300mbps@rm49 + ultimate@rm60 + 600min-calls@rm20. So if i take this free router every thing remains or it comes with a new 24-month contract?

Can it be re-use for Astro/Maxis broadband?

I'm still tied to contract, so no freedom to lateral switch to same speed but lesser price.

If you are not contracted, you should be able to. But watch out if you instead have existing tv pack contract.
