Or maybe RM20 x 24 months waiver can apply to RM269 SWU as above
*
Yeah the RM269 SWU is the one I am aiming for, if they counter offer lah. Without RM20 waiver I also don't mind.
Even if RM299 bundle I will also take it, I prefer to stay with Unifi than trying out Maxis that I don't have experience with.

Will update here later.

So, TM is giving a free speed upgrade for 6 months once your upgrade your current plan.

Example: 30 to 100Mbps, get 300Mbps for 6 months, and pay 100Mbps pricing.

upgrade is not a must . for example , if your package is 30 mbps you can get free upgrade of speed for six months.

with attached condition
e) The Campaign package is subjected to twenty-four (24) months minimum subscription
period and Customer’s unifi Home subscription will be refreshed for twenty-four (24)
months upon the activation of the Campaign Package.

I get this list in MyUnifi app when clicking "Upgrade Plan".

800Mbps "from RM279", what does that mean exactly? Does anyone know what is the monthly price I will pay?

I check mine.

So "WTF" that I can actually get my current packaging 500Mbps/RM249 reduced to 500Mbps/RM219?

But will this trigger penalty of existing contract because it's reducing price?

I am not sure since it's not stated explicitly, but I think your contract will just renew for 24 months. Technically you're not terminating, just changing plan. Yeah exactly it's becoming cheaper.

After reading a few times, I guess the "From RM279" could mean RM279 + SST + other optional add-ons.

Since I am visiting TM point this week for migrating to Maxis (supposedly), I will ask about this. If it's really 279 I will not migrate to maxis already.

Just chat with CS livechat, confirmed that the price listed is just before SST.

So let me summarize, price below before tax:
800mbps + 1 month free + hotstar + either mesh wifi or plus box (TV pack) = RM279/289(no "6 months free speed upgrade" cuz 800mbps is already the top speed)
500mbps + 1 month free + hotstar + either mesh wifi or plus box (TV pack)= RM 209/219 (first 6 months speed upgrade to 800mbps, after that revert to 500mbps)
300mbps + 1 month free + hotstar + either mesh wifi or plus box (TV pack)= RM 169/159 (first 6 months speed upgrade to 500mbps, after that revert to 300mbps)

Below 300mbps read yourself in the upgrade page.

So I have just submitted my request to upgrade to 800mbps for RM279. I think this is a good deal so far, consider I get mesh wifi for free, RM20 cheaper than maxis and I don't need to worry about maxis' service. I am pretty satisfied with unifi so far.

Fingers crossed!

Ahhh... Yaaa... This one also need to clarify with TM. Coz last time they did some sort of that plan with discount for 24 months only. After contract ended, it reverts back to the original price

Just change plan and got a Zyxel EX3220-T0 router, first impressions is the 2.4 GHz band range is very good.

Much better than unifi TP Link Archer C1200, that have random reboot problem.
*
I dun think anyone really use the 2.4Ghz.

Yes, they expect you to change your plan again once the contract end.

Pay higher price = No contract
Pay slightly lower price = Bound to another 24 months.
