`Alonso to Ferrari, Massa to Toyota`
Monday 24th September 2007

Fernando Alonso is reportedly off to Ferrari next season in a 20m per year deal, while Felipe Massa is moving to Toyota.

Alonso's position at McLaren has become more untenable with the FIA's confirmation that it was the Spaniard's emails that resulted in the team being stripped of their 2007 Constructors' Championship points and handed a 50m fine.

And with Ron Dennis admitting that his relationship with his driver is "extremely cold" and that Alonso's unhappy with the team's equality policy, the double World Champion's time at McLaren appears to be running out - and fast.

In fact, according to the News of the World, Alonso has just three more races as a McLaren driver having already agreed to join Ferrari.

According to the tabloid, the Spaniard has agreed a 20 million a year deal to join Ferrari for 2008, leaving Felipe Massa out in the cold.

Massa, though, is already making plans for the future with the Daily Mail claiming that he 'opened preliminary negotiations with Toyota last weekend.'

The newspaper went on to say that Massa's decision to leave Ferrari could be based on team boss Jean Todt's pending (and unwanted) retirement in order to make way for Ross Brawn's return.

The Ferrari tech director, who is nearing the end of his year-long sabbatical, is expected to return to the Scuderia next season as team boss. And should this happen it could place Todt's son, who is also Massa's manager, in an uncomfortable position.

'Massa is acutely aware that if Jean Todt, as expected, loses an impending internal power struggle within Ferrari, he will be instantly vulnerable as he is managed by the Frenchman's son, Nicholas,' the Mail surmised.

On a personal note, P-F1 believes Alonso would do well at Ferrari... after all he already knows all about the car and how to set it up.

oh no! alansi to ferrari? vmad.gif i don't have any complaint about his talent but arghh! what a cry baby; if he keep on losing to kimi, he'll start making a lot of noise..... yawn.gif
then, he may send a spam email to another ah beng racer... unsure.gif
he may try to bribe the ferrari mechanics in favour of him..... hmm.gif
and instead of the white substance, it is his urinal pumped into kimi's car..... laugh.gif
or he will try to force kimi out of the race in the 1st corner..... mad.gif

Q & A with Kimi Raikkonen
Link ~ http://www.autosport.com

Kimi's answers were thumbup.gif

QUOTE
Q. If at some point in the future, maybe the distant future, that you were told that your teammate was going to be Fernando Alonso. What would your reaction be?

KR: It wouldn't change anything for me. I don't expect it to happen, anyhow. I have never been in a position to say who I want my teammate to be. I don't really care too much who it is. It really doesn't make my life any different.

Q. Would you enjoy the chance to beat him?

KR: It would be nice, for sure. But like I said, I don't know. It is more talk than anything else.

Q. Looking at Fernando, he is fighting against you, he is fighting against Lewis and he is fighting against the team. Are you surprised how well he is handling the situation psychologically?

KR: It is nothing to do with me. I don't have any interest to answer questions about him. It is nothing against him, but I am not here for that reason.

Latest rumour

QUOTE
It is speculated that Todt has fallen out with Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo, including over the latter's desire to pair Fernando Alonso alongside Kimi Raikkonen next season.

Todt Snr, Jnr and Massa, therefore, might be eyeing Toyota for refuge.

Ferrari fury still echoes around revamped Fuji

Sat 29 Sep, 01:48 AM

Ferrari's Massa of Brazil
view photo

FUJI, Japan (Reuters) - The newest circuit in Formula One carries some old scars for former Ferrari team manager Daniele Audetto.

Thirty years after the last grand prix held at Fuji, the 64-year-old Italian can still hear the late Enzo Ferrari's angry voice echoing down the telephone from the other side of the world.

"I have bad memories, unfortunately, of the old Fuji," Audetto, now guiding battling backmarkers Super Aguri in a new Formula One adventure, told Reuters at the revamped Japanese Grand Prix venue.

"His voice is still resounding in my brain, because when Ferrari was upset he was really an upset man," he recalled, imitating a telephone held at arms' length.

Anyone who thinks McLaren boss Ron Dennis has had a hard time, in a season of spy scandals and record $100 million fines, should spare a thought for the maelstrom Audetto went through in 1976 and 1977.

Even if Sunday's race turns out to be a no-holds-barred battle between the championship contenders, it will be nothing compared to what went on in 1976.

That year, Ferrari arrived at Fuji for the first grand prix to be held in Japan with Niki Lauda three points clear and on the verge of securing his second championship despite a near-fatal crash at the Nuerburgring.

The Austrian, badly burned and given the last rites, was racing again only six weeks after his accident but there were to be no celebrations for him in the championship-decider.

Hope we're strong in the race and on heavier fuel load...wet correct?
If it's raining tomorrow...pole does not matter.
Wipe that smirk off Hamilton's face.

Kimi mentioned about gearbox problems.
I think that's the of his aggressive style...menacing the gearbox.

If not mistaken, Micheal Schumacher did used immediate tyres under heavy rain condition few years ago and still pretty much owned the whole race. Maybe they're gambling for it but then it seems they forgot how dominating their cars were few years back laugh.gif

FIA now also like mclaren - CHEAT vmad.gif mad.gif

Late email cost Ferrari dear - spokesman
QUOTE
An FIA email informing Ferrari of a late tyre-rule change arrived seven minutes too late, a team spokesman said on Sunday.

After Kimi Raikkonen's comments following the race, Luca Colajanni confirmed that the Maranello based team was not aware until 1.37pm - seven minutes after the race began behind the safety car - that it had not been allowed to fit intermediate tyres.

"Now there's nothing we can do," he said, after the damaging pit stops had to be organised to change to extreme wet tyres.

Raikkonen's race engineer Chris Dyer reportedly used even harsher language in a post-race television interview.

Apparently, the Australian said FIA race control 'f***ed our race' before he was stopped by a Ferrari PR representative.

Raikkonen blames FIA for tyre gaffe
Errors cost Ferrari at Fuji

QUOTE
Kimi Raikkonen on Sunday blamed the FIA for not informing Ferrari of a last minute rule change.

The Maranello-based team had to pull into the pits early in the Japanese Grand Prix after trying to start the race behind the safety car on intermediate tyres.

Third placed Raikkonen, now a distant 17 points behind Lewis Hamilton in the world championship with two races to go, later told reporters at Fuji Speedway that Charlie Whiting and FIA race control failed to tell Ferrari that it had to start on extreme wet tyres.

"They forgot to tell our team," the Finn claimed. "That forced us to pit behind the safety car.

Although no other team wrongly started the race on intermediates, Renault's Pat Symonds confirmed that Whiting only publicised the rule change just over an hour before the race.

"It's a little bit surprising, I guess," he told the British broadcaster ITV.

Well...FIA favoured Hamilton (since he's British) to win the WDC even though McPencuri were guilty and fined.
FIA should have expelled their a**es.

FIA will do everything to make sure Hamilton does win it...no matter what.

Come on guys, think about it, if McLaren get expelled from driver championship. Will Ferrari win in glory? It'll just be like constructor championship. Nothing to be proud of anymore.

Losing out in a fight is much better than winning due to elimination of competitions.

Proton? I think it's better to let independent bodies do it. Politics and sports mix = havoc. As if the spygate incident wasn't enough to prove that point. Maybe Petronas, but definitely not Proton.

QUOTE
Todt admits that he was unimpressed with Alonso before he joined Minardi in 2001. Reportedly, the Spaniard reached a verbal long-term deal with Ferrari before he dropped it and signed for Flavio Briatore.

"I didn't like the way he acted with me," Todt said. "He's got a lot better. He's strong physically and mentally. As a driver I have great respect for him so I say 'never say never'."

Oh like that.
That's why Todt is upset with Alonso.

Me also think so.
He even clearly 'kutuk' his own team mate.

Don't worry.
This is Britain we are talking about, they will portray him as a God and when he fails, they will crucify him.
Doubt me? Take a look at Beckham's career!

Back to Ferrari.
I hope we can win in China and Brazil.

FIA have no choice but to give Alonso the protection when asking him to release the info(email).. so the protection have to go to other driver as well.. now.. Hammiton who get all the advantage...

technically.. Alonso give advantage to the rookie.. and in FIA part.. Alonso help to protected him as well.. he should give a big thanks to Alonso and Ferarri for the WDC...

Luckily massa didn't get any penalty from that incident, after he off track at last corner, thought he will behind kubica, but when he return to the track, gap between him and kubica about 0.5xx sec

Worries me...

Prac Three: Kimi goes quick, quick, slow
QUOTE
However, as has happened far too often this season, the Finn ran into problems late in the session when his Ferrari F2007 suddenly slowed down.

He limped back to the pits where he spent the final few minutes talking to his mechanics and watching to see if any of the other drivers could beat his lap time.

They couldn't.

I see a repeat of Silverstone thumbup.gif

QUOTE
Kimi Raikkonen
"Of course it would have been better to be on pole, but all things considered, second place is a good result, especially when you consider the uncertainty about how much fuel those in the top ten are running. I am very happy with the handling of the car this weekend: we have shown we are competitive in all conditions and I think that should be the same even if it rains, which seems likely. I am confident. We know the situation in the championship is pretty compromised but I will do my all to try and win."

Its not we are cruel but to be honest Kimi winning WDC is still slim..... Hamster could still win without having to finish the Brazilian GP.

Just got home and i see the picture above.
I only have 1 thing in mind, that is Victory!!

Its really unbelievable that Lewis DNF and after all the consistencies with his driving, finally for once, the "thing" caught up to him tongue.gif laugh.gif

Hopes up again.
Kimi is just 7 points behind Lewis but there is still Alonso posing a threat to Kimi; so if both the Macca drivers can DNF in the remaining 2 races or fall behind far enough for us to hit the threshold, we are all good!

Hammy don't know how to baby his tyres...typical rookie.
Worsen by McPencuri's late decision on pitting.

Pressure on Hammy in Brazil.

Being so close to losing the lead will probably put him into a super sensitive state like how Alonso was last season with Schumi on his back eh brows.gif

Ferrari celebrate 200th Grand Prix win

Ferrari reached a Formula One double century in China on Sunday after Kimi Raikkonen gave the team their 200th Grand Prix victory. Once polesitter Lewis Hamilton had retired, Raikkonen ran unchallenged to the flag to keep his 2007 title hopes alive. Team mate Felipe Massa was third.

"It is great to be able to celebrate Scuderia Ferrari's two hundredth victory in Formula One, here in Shanghai, at the end of a difficult race, further complicated by the unpredictability of the changes in the weather," commented team principal Jean Todt.

"Kimi brings his total tally of the season to five and this is the team's eighth. He drove an extraordinary race, without committing the slightest error. Felipe had a good race, helping us to see how the dry weather tyres were working at a critical moment. Unfortunately, the rain returned for a brief period, which affected his race."

Raikkonen had been quickest throughout most of the weekend, but admitted he was still slightly surprised with how the race had unfolded. He now heads to Brazil seven points behind championship leader Hamilton and just three adrift of second-placed Fernando Alonso.

"Last week in Fuji, we were unlucky but today things went right for us," said the Finn. "We have had yet another example that in this sport anything can happen. The situation in the drivers' classification is still difficult, but I will try everything to win in Brazil, even if the final outcome does not just depend on what we do. It should be a great battle, very hard to predict and interesting."

It was a good day all round for Ferrari, whose engines also powered Toro Rosso to fourth and sixth courtesy of Sebastian Vettel and Vitantonio Liuzzi.[+]

But even Dennis, barely mentioning Alonso's drive to second place, seemed not to hide whose side he was on in China, where scoring two more points than Alonso would have secured the championship for Hamilton.

"We weren't at all fazed about Kimi; we didn't care about Kimi; we weren't racing Kimi; he (Lewis) was racing Fernando," the team boss said.

"Kimi winning and Lewis coming second was adequate - but it just didn't work out that way."

Yup.

Dennis Baba: "we were basically racing Fernando"

doh.gif

Alonso was asked at the Chinese Grand Prix whether he had been treated fairly by McLaren and whether they might be somehow slowing his car to favour teammate and championship leader Lewis Hamilton.

"Difficult question...I will not answer," Alonso had replied.

Without Fernando, no f****ng way they will be as competitive as this season.
Minus the cheating lah.

McLaren has banned Ferrari team members from entering its hospitality facilities for fear of another spying scandal, according to reports.

It is claimed by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo that the Woking based team sent a letter to that effect to Ferrari boss Jean Todt ten days ago.

McLaren was fined $100m and kicked out of the constructors' championship recently at the end of a scandal involving the transfer of Ferrari secrets.

El Mundo said McLaren workers, meanwhile, have been advised to not even speak with their Ferrari counterparts at races.

Todt reportedly replied to Ron Dennis' letter, informing him that McLaren team members are still welcome to enjoy Ferrari hospitality at Grand Prix.

My mistake tongue.gif

A big challenge ahead for Ferrari
''We need to be first and second and then we will see''
Link ~ http://www.f1-live.com

QUOTE
Ferrari won in Brazil last year when they were perhaps more competitive than their rivals, so how did Baldisseri rate their chances this year? "The car this year is a bit different than the past year. Last year we tuned the tyres, we had Bridgestones, so we basically decided the tyres to have. This year it's different, because we have to stay on what Bridgestone bring and they have decided to bring the soft and super soft. This, to be honest, is not our preferable choice because historically this year, we were struggling where we had that couple of compounds. And you know the tyres are quite important in a car's performance, and if you are not able to use them at the best of their performance, you can easily lose tenths."

QUOTE
Pressure had something to do with the Chinese tactics, too. "Talking about this race, after the first pit stop, we were just tackling what Hamilton was ready to do, because we knew that he basically put less fuel into the car in comparison to our stop. Of course we were just controlling the pace and checking what was the situation. We knew at that stage that we could be in front, so it was much easier."

QUOTE
Was the problem of soft and super soft related to a single lap of qualifying or in the race? "No," said Baldisseri, "that's only on a single lap, we have to work out how to use the super soft in qualifying. We've done some work at home after Budapest, I think we understood the problem."

QUOTE
So were Ferrari surprised by Hamilton's mistake? "You know, when you are under pressure or you are pragmatic, you can make mistakes everywhere. That shows how is Formula One and maybe he was thinking it was the easiest part of his race, but that's racing," concluded Domenicali.

Now I'm seven points behind Hamilton and three behind Alonso. Anything can happen in the race. There are more possibilities to pick up on Alonso."

Massa till 2010.
Kimi till 2009.
I think 2009 would be Kimi's final season.
Then he'll hung his helmet.

He did say that last year IIRC.

Equalled Hakkinen's double world title in 2008 and 2009 (better achievements than Hakkinen might I add)
Thus claimed he's the best Finnish driver of all time.

Raikkonen plays down tyre concern
Link ~ http://www.planetf1.com

QUOTE
Kimi Raikkonen doesn't think the supersoft tyres will be to Ferrari's disadvantage at this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix.

The Finn, who heads into the season finale seven points behind Championship leader Lewis Hamilton and four behind Fernando Alonso, also promised to give it his all to win the Drivers' title on Sunday.

If Hamilton fails to score any points and Alonso finishes no higher than fifth then Raikkonen will claim his first Championship crown if he ends second.

There has been suggestions in some quarters that the Bridgestone tyres will benefit McLaren at Interlagos, but Raikkonen is having none of that.

"I've been reading stories that the supersoft tyres should be better for our competitors," Raikkonen said.

"That might have been true early in the season. But then things improved for us in terms of the set-up. So we just have to wait and see how it goes in Brazil.

"We go to Brazil in position three, so I'm not really the favourite for the title. But as we saw at Shanghai two weeks ago anything can happen. Whatever will happen, it's going to be a very exciting race. We will give it all.

"We couldn't do very much to prepare ourselves for Interlagos," the Finn said.

"I think that our competitors have done their job as we did. There's lots of pressure on both sides. They have two drivers in the race for the title and they also fight each other. Hopefully we can benefit from that.

"I go into this race the same way as into the last two: my aim is to win, and the rest is not up to me. It is a similar situation as in 2003, when I lost the title to Michael [Schumacher].

"Hamilton has seven points more than us: there's not much to calculate. We have to win and that's it."

Lewis in breach of sporting regs?

Fri 19 Oct, 05:59 PM

Lewis Hamilton is one of three drivers under investigation at the Brazilian Grand Prix for being in breach of wet weather tyre regulations.

The championship leader, Takuma Sato and Jenson Button are all accused of being in breach of Article 25.3 of the F1 Sporting Regulations, which states that: "No driver may use more than one set of wet and one set of extreme weather tyres during P1 and P2."

It is not yet known whether the drivers will face any kind of penalty, but the matter is likely to be investigated after the second practice session.

did u heard the commentary mention that british like 2 win the hard way n end up losing on the last day?i sumwat must agree with this. laugh.gif 1986 champion should belong 2 mansell but blew up his tyre on the last race.then piquet was suppose 2 b champion but his team retire him 4 tyre safety reason. rclxub.gif thus giving prost the championship that year.there r other british drivers that suffer the same fate 2 last time.then we have england that was on road 2 victory against russia in euro quali only 2 b robbed in 4 second half minutes few days ago. doh.gif now i wonder would the same scenario happen again in the rugby final n 2nites race of the british rookie showdown. brows.gif

Quali at 12am.
So, race 12am.

Watch la.
I'll treat it as all the past GP starts.
Nervous but I think Alonso's and Hammy's fans were more nervous.

QUOTE
Kimi Raikkonen
"Of course it would have been better to be on pole position but third place is certainly no bad thing and leaves me in a good position for tomorrow's race, also in light of the strategy we have chosen and the performance of the car. On my final flying lap, I lost precious time at turn four because of Hamilton: it is a real shame but there is no point in recriminations over what has happened. I am confident that I will be able to keep my chances alive right to the end

Finally it came to the end of the season again, pretty exciting season at least Hamilton manage to keep himself away from the podium *2 or 3* times?!

Good luck to both our drivers. Wont be watching the LIVE telecast but i really wish that Kimi can be the WDC cause he deserve it much more than Lewis and maybe .. Alonso tongue.gif whistling.gif

Yup, really bad week for them.

England lost to Russia.
England lost the Rugby WC.
Lewis Hamilton lost the F1 title??? icon_rolleyes.gif

If Raikkonen tries to pass Hamilton in the first corner, he'd be wise to just let him past.

The odds against Kimi:
- Trailing behind 7 points
- Alonso in front of him on starting grid
- Massa in front of him
- Hamilton at 4th

The odds even out with:
- Hamilton electronic problem
- Hamilton pitting 3 times and still not going fast enough
- Massa slip up resulting in a pit stop overtaking
- Nobody got taken out between Hamilton and Kimi

Yeap... miracle happened laugh.gif

we deserved it. anyone who thinks otherwise is brainless. the best they could come up with is the "REAL" world champions with quote unquote. We have been the best TEAM (read TEAM) and Kimi has been the nicest boy in F1 letting others f*** each other.

If you could hold your head when others lose theirs, then you'll be the Formula One Driver's Champion

Pity Massa though. He seems devastated. Don't expect him to be really happy for Kimi but what the heck. Btw, Raikkonen, find us some wallpapers and pictures biggrin.gif

from the replies here, i guess you guys didn't know about the possible penalty of BMW and hence promoting Hamilton getting 3 points (hence World Champion).

F1live - Championship result still in question...

But it's confirmed now!
Kimi IS the WORLD CHAMPION!

THIRD TIME LUCKY FOR NEW CHAMPION RAIKKONEN...

Finally, after two near-misses, Kimi Raikkonen has his very own world championship. It may have been a long time coming but what a one to win. By bettering double world champion Fernando Alonso and the sport's newest superstar, Lewis Hamilton, Raikkonen has secured Ferrari their first driver title of the post-Schumacher era and denied former team McLaren their only compensation from a difficult season.

Back at the season-opener in Australia, Raikkonen was already looking like a champion-in waiting. Taking pole, victory and fastest lap to boot, he dominated the Melbourne race weekend. Of course, the McLaren duo were also in the mix, as was Raikkonen's team mate Felipe Massa, but it was the Finn who looked to have the advantage.

Fast forward to mid-season, however, and it was different story. As Hamilton, Massa and Alonso traded wins, Raikkonen seemed to slip by the wayside. Struggling to adapt to the new Bridgestone tyres, the 28-year-old went six races without a victory. With less than half the points of championship leader Hamilton, his title chances looked decidedly bleak.

For one thing, luck seemed to have deserted him. An electrical failure in Spain and an accident during qualifying in Monaco were just two of the mishaps which seriously dented Raikkonen's mid-season challenge. A faulty wind tunnel back at the factory was also wreaking minor havoc on Ferrari's programme of development.

But just as matters looked to be irretrievable, fate moved in his favour. In France, whether down to clever strategy, hard work or just plain good fortune, Raikkonen began to look at ease in the F2007. Backing up his victory at Magny-Cours with another in Silverstone, a revival was on the cards. Even the hydraulics failure at the Nurburgring did little to dent Raikkonen's resurgence. With the impetus on his side, the quietly determined Finn hauled in valuable points to close on leader Hamilton.

Although reliability problems continued to plague the Italian squad, it was Massa who seemed to bear the brunt of their effects with the Brazilian's title fight eventually petering out after his suspension strife in Monza. Raikkonen's charge, meanwhile, was unrelenting. With his title hopes further strengthened by dominant victories in Belgium and China, the Finn arrived in Brazil for the final race of the season still in the running.

Seven points adrift of Hamilton, and three shy of Alonso - he needed a victory to seal the deal. He had history on his side, however. Back in 1986 - the last time three men were still in contention at the season finale - outsider Alain Prost had taken the championship in Adelaide after a sterling drive for McLaren, pushing out Williams team mates Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet. In Sao Paulo, Raikkonen was favourite to win the race, but his title hopes would rest just as heavily on the performance of his rivals. But as with Prost, it all came together. He won the race, with team mate Massa protecting him in second. Alonso had no answer to the Ferraris' pace and gearbox gremlins demoted Hamilton to seventh.

Despite Raikkonen's title challenge taking some severe knocks in the early stages, the 'Iceman' has fought back with admirable determination. Against the odds, he has done it. By outstripping team mate Massa, taking on the might of the McLaren duo and muscling his way into the title showdown in Brazil, Raikkonen has shown himself not only to be a worthy replacement for Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, he has also proved himself a worthy world champion. Congratulations Kimi!

Nice team work rclxms.gif

Massa, Kimi and Alonso screwed Hamilton big time too.

the start are pretty good.. Massa really did a fantastic job to hold the McLaren in the start.. and he know Kimi will be side by side with him... the moment Kimi slot in between Massa n Hamiton are just great.. and then.. to the next corner.. Hamilton actually have better momentum then Kimi.. but no choice he have to break since he is at the back of Kimi..

Once he break.. he lost momentum and cannot get close back to Kimi.. and then Alonso from the back have the momentum run side by side with him.. his acceleration already a bit slow compare to alonso who have the momentum.. he should have just let Alonso go through... but he take all the risk n run with him... end up he run wide .. eat sand... lost several place... to no.8.. ..

Brundel and Allen commentating gave me the idea what happened during the start...as well as the visual itself.

I just watched the ASTRO one on Channel 813 currently.
You won't get the same commentating though.

I think I might watch the last lap at 2.55pm and listen the other Brit b**tards on ASTRO would say.

Then, in an amazing twist, it seemed he may be handed the crown on a technicality following a fuel row involving the drivers who came fourth, fifth and sixth. After leaving the track, Hamilton waited anxiously at his hotel, desperate for news from the FIA.

But at 1am today, race stewards finally killed off his dream when they announced that, whatever the findings of their investigation, the race result would stand.

But if we base on the spy case
Only the constructor's points will be stripped right?
Points earned by Kubica, Rosberg and Heidfeld probablt wont be affected which is just like the case for Alonso and Hamilton in the spy case

It would be a lack of respect - Alonso

As the McLaren Mercedes Team is to launch an appeal against the decision of the stewards not to punish BMW Sauber and Williams for the fuel temperature discrepancy during the Brazilian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso expresses his displeasure for this decision.

Fernando Alonso, who became World Champion in 2005 and 2006, does not approve the initiative of his team to launch an appeal against the stewards' decision in the hope that Lewis Hamilton can still become World Champion. The Spaniard said: "If they want to give the title to Hamilton after an appeal from McLaren, I would put my head in the ground of shame. It would be a lack of respect. The driver with the most points is the true champion."

LOL. My friend sent it to me over MSN. How true is it, God knows but I laugh my ass off. Alonso rather have Kimi than Lewis biggrin.gif

I pity Alonso more than anything. I think despite how Dennis tries to impliment 'fairness', he has always been unfair to Alonso. I can't forget what Dennis said in Shanghai, "We weren't racing Kimi, we were racing Fernando." It's literally "Me Against the World" in Fernando's case.

Raikkonen says title defeat justice for McLaren

British veterans split over 'cool fuel' saga
Link ~ http://en.f1-live.com

QUOTE
But Jordan told BBC's Radio Five Live that it is impossible to prove that the trio's fuel was too cold at the time that it entered their cars.

"I'm not sure you can do that unless you've got a very, very sophisticated special rigging system telling the telemetry as the fuel is going through the gantry into the car," he said.

"Clearly, if it was there and it was readily available, the stewards would have acted on that and it would have had an immediate effect with the cars being excluded," Jordan added.

Hard to prove it...similar same case in proving McLaren used Ferrari's data tongue.gif
Pretty much the appeal would end up in a drain rclxms.gif

He preaches equality but you don't see him doing it. Equality is Lewis 1st, Alonso 2nd. It must be Hamilton + Daddy + Goddaddy = Alonso + his incredible driving ability. rolleyes.gif

McLaren also got teamwork wad. Teamwork against their employee: Fernando Alonso. People say that he should be disappointed finishing level with a rookie but mind you; Istanbul, tyre pressures and whatever politics, he's level with Lewis. cool2.gif

Yah... i saw him kept silence smile face all the time... He must be thinking that Kimi won better than Lewis.. Alonso did play some part in helping Kimi to win... During starting point, Massa try to defend n block to two Mclaren... then excitingly Alonso also trying 2 block Lewis... and sway in to close the gap in front of Lewis and then did a bit jam brake making Lewis off the track...Then the 2 Ferrari sped off!!! I was amaze and know Kimi going to won... it came true!!!

I'm more into fan of Kimi. He's my idol since he joined F1 in Sauber...I'm waiting for him to be WC so long!!! I really hate Mclaren for causing him the youngest world champion that time... still remember??? I can say confirm Mclaren caused his WC title for two years becos of unreliable car!!!
