Morose Massa pleads ignorance after spin
Sunday 23rd March 2008

Felipe Massa's spin in the Malaysian Grand Prix offers more ammunition to his detractors.

The 27-year-old lost the back-end of his Ferrari whilst entering turn eight at Sepang, and instead of navigating the innocuous corner, ended up beached in the gravel.

Massa's mistake will infuriate the Scuderia as the team looked set for a one-two finish with team-mate Kimi Raikkonen claiming an effortless victory.

Reports from the garage suggest that the Prancing Horse's management put the incident down to driver error.

Massa offered no explanation for the spin and told reporters: "I don't know what happened, I just lost the car completely when the rear came round suddenly."

plz bring on schumi or any other test driver for next race..give a wakeup call for massa

he is fast but inconsistent..8 point for WCC gone

renault engineers print out all the data from alonso's telemetry..he didnt lift off or brake testing just a racing incident

alonso is running heavier and his car well not performing that good..hamilton car is quicker but he just done a big mistake

simple as that laugh.gif
