QUOTE(BuFung @ Oct 23 2007, 10:09 AM) Yeah Massa back to this role...#2 driver a.k.a rear gunner. MS said that a team needs to have a #1 driver...it's the only way to secure the titles. McPencuri stupidly never learned that. QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Oct 23 2007, 10:14 AM) McLaren also got teamwork wad. Teamwork against their employee: Fernando Alonso. People say that he should be disappointed finishing level with a rookie but mind you; Istanbul, tyre pressures and whatever politics, he's level with Lewis. Ron has lost his head.Quote: "We weren't racing Raikkonen. We were racing Fernando" - Ron "EQUALITY" Dennis. *As you can see, I am having a field day taking the mickey out of McLaren. QUOTE(pinkfuzzychick @ Oct 23 2007, 12:26 PM) Yeah.He could easily be a model, actor etc. Great package...except emmm...his voice And never seen photos of him as a kid, his parents etc. He has a an elder bro you know, Rami Raikkonen...the only sibling. His bro has a better voice than him but does not have his looks This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Oct 23 2007, 02:30 PM |

QUOTE(BuFung @ Oct 23 2007, 04:17 PM) QUOTE Hamilton: No chance Ferrari Eurosport - Sun, 16 Sep 17:02:00 2007 Lewis Hamilton has dismissed Kimi Raikkonen's championship challenge, saying he is focused squarely on beating Fernando Alonso. 2007 Belgian GP McLaren Hamilton - 0 More Stories * Raikkonen punishes McLaren After struggling to fourth place in the Belgian GP, the Briton's championship lead over Alonso is just two points, while Raikkonen closed to within 13 points with three races to go. But despite giving up nearly a second a lap to the Finn at Spa, Hamilton said Raikkonen was not even in his thoughts. "I'm not really bothered about Ferrari, they're a bit out of the picture. For me the thing is to beat Fernando," he told ITV. After slipping helplessly behind both Ferraris and Alonso, Hamilton viowed to come out fighting in Japan next fortnight. "The car didn't feel too bad but I just wasn't able to gain any time throughout the race. We need to find out why that is, but we got points so it's not too bad. "I'm going to be very, very aggressive next couple of races." The Briton had to back off after going side-by-side with Alonso through the legendary Eau Rouge corner on the opening lap. The Spaniard appeared to force Hamilton off the track on the opening corner before slamming the door in uncompromising fashion when the rookie came back at him seconds later. But Alonso said he was always confident holding off the rookie and insisted they did not touch wheels. "At the first corner Felipe locked the front tyre a little bit and was blocking the inside so I had no space - so I had a bad exit from turn one," he said. "Lewis also ran a little bit wide. We arrived wheel-by-wheel going into turn three [Eau Rouge] but I was lucky to be on the inside to keep position from him. "On this occasion I was quite confident and happy with my position into this corner so I was not too worried. I had one lap less fuel than him to I knew I should be quicker." QUOTE Hill accuses FIA of Ferrari favouritism http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2817433,00.htmlDamon Hill has accused F1's race stewards of exercising double standards by refusing to implement the punishment that would hand Lewis Hamilton the World title. Hamilton, denied becoming the first rookie to win the title by a single point after a disastrous Brazilian Grand Prix yesterday, could see his hopes resurrected if his team McLaren win an appeal against the latest controversial decision from the FIA. Race stewards at Interlagos decided not to disqualify Williams or BMW despite irregularities with their cars' fuel temperatures that is thought to have given them an illegal performance advantage. Had they been punished, 22-year-old Hamilton would have been elevated to fourth place, denying race winner Kimi Raikkonen the F1 crown. McLaren have been on the wrong side of FIA decisions on more than one occasion this season, not least when they were fined 50million in the 'spy' saga. Hill, Britain's last World Champion, said on Radio Five Live: "Rules are rules. "The FIA have found some teams are in breach of the regulations. "If this had been something McLaren had done during the season, do you think the FIA would have insisted that their cars were legal or illegal? "I think on past performance they're prepared to persecute McLaren for any infringement that they've made this season. "It does get quite difficult to see where the consistency lies because if you go back to the beginning of the season, McLaren's argument is that Ferrari won the very first race using a device which was later found to be illegal by the FIA. "They removed it but the result stood. "It's very unsettling to have this appeal, but there is so much at stake and the FIA have to find somehow a way of being consistent. "I can see how a couple of degrees fuel temperature can be regarded as being so negligible that it wouldn't make any difference. "But we're talking about such tiny differences all the time in Formula One, there has to be a line where you're one side or the other." Hill believes the double standards especially apply where Ferrari are concerned. "There is that feeling," he said. "You have to say there's no doubt there does sometimes seem to be one rule for Ferrari and another for everyone else. "Ferrari are very important to the sport." After an explosive season which has seen F1 on the front pages as well as the back, Hill is refusing to predict the outcome of this final twist, saying: "I've lost the ability to guess what's going to happen in Formula One." this old man why kap siao? |

One word, paranoia...
This season F1 just give me so muc laughter... First, we have flexi floor that give 1s or more in the straight line... And now fuel... Now I think I wanna propose to our beloved YAB Badawi and tell them to get Alex Yoong ready for F1 cos Im very sure that we gonna win F1 WDC and WCC next year. Solution is easy... I plan to lower the fuel by 10C gain a hefty 50HP shave up to 5s off the laptime (since 2c can shave by 1s). Next I gonna copy Ferrari fairy teethers as its going to give trim few more seconds off the laptime. Last but not least, please make sure Alex Yoong applied for British citizenship. LOL......... I just cant help it... Someone tell me why you spent million of dollars for the damn wind tunnel and engineer when you can gain 1s simply by lowering fuel temp by 2c. I would make a Honda like ballast tank where the temp will be taken and another real tank for the lower temp fuel and no one would notice. Honda ballast tech + BMW fuel knowledge > $x,000,000.00 Wind Tunnel |

I actually find Kimi quite charming when he put a smile on his face. If he doesn't smile he sure do look like an ice-man!!. Anyway congrats to Kimi. He sure is proud to carry the No. 1 next season!
Does anyone knows where to get Ferrari's official merchandise in KL? Been looking around but can't seem to find one, besides Puma! |

QUOTE(KimRoss @ Oct 23 2007, 10:27 PM) I think more or less Lewis will stay put at where he finish.Firstly, FIA usually punish the team for this kind of mistake, not the drivers. If in the rare case they punish the driver, it doesn't meant Lewis will automatically move up the grid. It's up to the steward to decide whether or not to move Lewis up, and I think they have many reasons not to do so. If they do so, it will even cause more trouble to F1. I think the best solution is, if FIA decided to punish them, is take away the team's point for that race. They won't want to change the championship outcome like that. |
