I know UCSI fashion design with marketing degree courses fees are around 52k. do the ptptn cover the fees? how much the ptptn lend us for this kind of courses? different courses gets different amount right?

7 Subjects? Crazy!

About the TT, I already voiced it out on previous posts here but seems like here is not the right place to voice your complaints. Basically we cannot do anything about this but to accept it as the way it is.

Students Affairs, Dean, PCR committees (which I think is a waste of time), bla bla and more.

PTPTN offered for UCSI is only up to $8,000 per semester (long semester basis) meaning 16k a year. 48K is the full loan amount. You might need to top up another 4k? (And 7k - 8k for the first semester)

And be reminded that due to the new course, there have been slight problem with registering it with JPS. The disbursement process will take some time.

I would like to say sorry for your inconvenient, the reason we keep changing because the research and class we have set not good enough, in the other way, there are a lot of students are not following the Y-table, a lot a lot of students just keep on and on follow their friends when doing CS (Course Selection), so at the end there have a lot crashes subject with subject, and they complain this and that and blame those Head of Diploma or Dean or Students Affair or whosoever. As what i know from now is both side also got mistake, this semester u saw Y-table is until year 2012. WHY should they do that? becoz they wan u all to follow ur Y-table and plan for every semester taking wat subject, and at the end there have no crashes PLUS no need ask to open another new class becoz u going graduate and it's not offering this semester (Retake, not graduating and some unacceptable reason will get rejected). Next, i would like to know wat course are u taking? I think u must be Diploma in Management student. Have u sure these 7 subjects no any crashes? Which semester u are? Do u know Head of Diploma in Management will approve ur subject based on your records? Also, i think you never heard about CAP (Capacity) System launched in this semester which there is a system with a limitation for each subject, for example, Fundamental of Marketing (Diploma) CAP is 50, when you are 51st student select this subject onwards will automatically get rejected from the system. and everybody quarrel here and there why they not approve me this and that, sometimes they never think about themselves. WHY they are late to their CS? if earlier then get approved then everything goes smooth. Slow response? u know why? becoz when CS started or Add & Drop Period, there is not ONLY YOU 1 student doing, is thousand of students. Head of Diploma in Management juz 1 person, how much time she going to spend to approve or reject EVERY student? She CANT just approve here and there easily, she will mixed the troubles up and at the end not only her gets trouble WHOLE Diploma in Management student will get in TROUBLE. ok, the problems cannot solve easily as wat u tot, we are brainstorming to solve these issues, it's takes a lot a lot a lot of time to solve it, do u know we still wanna write a report or do explanation when solving these issues? from externally, u cant see anything, but if you are 1 of them INTERNALLY, u will know wat are they doing. a lot of things is hidden.

Lastly, you say TT changed, and already week 4 and 5. OK, i know there are crashes for SURE when TT changed BECOZ the FOUNDATION level and DIPLOMA level. btw, u try to attend the class as much as u can, u dun care about the subject approval 1st, u may get approved or rejected, who knows? So you juz attend the class which you wan to take in this semester, so you have no worries about cant catch up the syllabus.

remember use the Y-table plan for ur future semester. Becoz our FOMIT will ensure that every subject offering each semester will not having ANY crashes, EXCEPT as wat i emphasize above ther u taking FOUNDATION subject (Year 1) and also DIPLOMA subject (Year 2), this may get u some crashes. CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.

i'm taking degree course Y2S1
Before attending classes, i've already confirm no TT crashes happened and get approved from my HEAD
Just to share some opinion { not really opinion} actually, i didn't take it as a complaint anyway
even my HEAD of programme is saying himself ,
" below these are off from the conversation, I DON'T KNOW WHAT DA FXCK THE FACULTY IS DOING, EVEN MYSELF.. WALK INTO THE CLASS
WAITED FOR HALF HOUR, NO STUDENT COMING IN, WHEN I GO AND CHECK, TT CHANGED, HOWEVER, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING" LOL
I ACCEPT THE FATE, coz i'm not following the Y-table. I got several subjects exempted.

My point is : The tremendous changes happened are very unfair for those students WHO SQUEEZED THEIR MIND, PLANNING THEIR OWN TT IN AN IDEAL FORM. and just because of the majorities aren't checking the time crashes ,it kinda absurd issue. What are the points for us to make the CS so earlier ?

1 more thing, it's ok to change the timetable ONCE. Do you have any explanation for changing them twice, thrice and more in a week time?

topic haven't close yet, coz i wanna do my explanation about ur comment or complaint. Firstly I would like to apologize to u. Today I have meeting with the FOMIT All HOP (Head of Programme), then the reason TT changed is becoz there are students go complain about their time clashes, so the Admin/ Registrar Office change the TT. ur question is 1 of the topic we discussed today. hmmm would u mind tell me you under which faculty? btw, even u have several subjects exempted but try to follow the Y-table and plan for ur future semester juz in case some subjects was not offering or clash. hmmm time clashing rate about 2 or more subjects will be least, becoz every HOD of FOMIT (I duno others Faculty) will arrange all subjects offering on that semester without any clashes.

If u are FOMIT student, I would like to get more comments from u. We are trying our best and brainstorming to solve every issue. Once again, sorry for inconvenience. If you not FOMIT student, it's still ok for me. I just can't help u take down ur feedback and do changes for students to improve, BUT if you got any questions wanna ask, u may ask me. I hope I can answer ur question well.

u mean 65 / 80 ?after interview or bfore ? i m a 3rd year student there . I think there will still be many coming in(nearing july) and many going away ... (especially after 1st year exam =.=)
