Have been using android for last 5 years. Tempted to switch... any android user switched and very satisfied?

I scared I can't survive without YouTube vanced and fingerprint scanner

My last android was note 5, once i switched to iphone, never looked back (still has a huawei as backup).

FaceID works much more seamlessly than fingerprint (as long as u dont have a mask on lol), and I have been using Youtube premium with their music as well (family sub is so cheap.)

The beauty of iOS is not any one feature, but rather the entire system as a whole.

From note 20 ultra here. First time using iphone and love it. The battery is the one thing that hold me back from using iphone all this year. Now with my 13 pro, 8-5 moderate using is good sometimes can last me 1.5 days too.

And yes now utube premium is affordable around rm27 monthly and can share 5/6 people. For the fp scanner, simce i bought together with apple watch, so its easier to unlock when using mask 😷

There are pros and cons, switched from S20 Plus.

Pros:
1. Stable ecosystem, rarely you can find any bugs/issue with the update.
2. Exceptional battery life compared to my S20 Plus.
3. Doesn't get overheat easily, which is one of the major setback for me when I was using S20 Plus.

Cons:
1. As you have mentioned, no YoutubeVanced or anything, hard to sideload apps.
2. File transfer between PC and phone.
3. I miss my fingerprint unlock.
4. SamsungPay, which ApplePay is still not available in Malaysia.

In summary: If you like a stable and reliable phone to use for the next 4/5 years, can go for iPhone. If you like variety and freedom, Android is still a better choice.

Updated to iOS 15.2, for the first time ever there's a battery drain overnight.
Checked the culprit and it's showing Whatsapp & lockscreen, even with background refresh is off.

Reinstalled Whatsapp and will monitor further.

try to monitor the next 2 days coz these bound to happen after an OS update, not common but it happens, I had it once too but it was ok after the 1st overnight drain..

Different people different taste..I like it..but just the case is too bulky..

I like the yellow thick border too, it made the lenses stand out more

I have been an android user for 10 years and this is my first time switching to iOS.
I'm definitely satisfied with it. Good screen, good camera and good battery, these 3 things are the main priority that i look at when shopping for a phone and iPhone 13 pro delivers all of them.
Of course after using android for a decade, iOS definitely feels fresh.

Switched after using android since my first smartphone. Loving it!!!

Been using Android from like forever. Previous phone was S21 Ultra.
Using a 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue now. 256gb.
What i love the most is the smoothness of iOS & the damn impressive battery life. Never need to worry about carrying a powerbank anymore.
What i am missing about Android the most - the fingerprint scanner & Samsung Pay.

Yeap, it’s sad to need to bring power bank along in 2021…this phone can last whole day or 2-3 days easily

Still need to bring power bank when going travelling oversea when it permits…:

Lots of goggle maps and photo shoot…..

Current situation, local travels = powerbank ❌❌

any bug or weird battery drain issue ?

Been using since 11 till 13 ..... After disappointment from the S series from samsung and hated curve design move made by one plus .... i decided to give iphone a try again after skipping for 5 generation ... i would say generally iphone is a boring phone but it works well if you want stability especially the apps will load more smoothly. i do miss those free slide loaded apps but also i learn to pay them thru family plan ..... for rm10+ it is like more cheaper then ordering a MCD meal and you get to used it for year before next payment .... i don't used much of the fingerprint scanner nor any sort of verification system coz im a hard key person and my only payment plan is TnG since it is universal thru all payment nowadays....also battery life for iphone is quiet good but they do have the health system that they adopt that will makes ppl paranoid and android don't them so one less to thing to worry about.
