checking payslip is bad practice. HR lazy dont want to rely on market rate and want to low ball.
if payslip higher than expected salary, HR ask a lot of question.
if payslip lower than expected salary, HR feel not worth to pay you.

Anyway, i refuse to disclose my payslip, just state i sign agreement cannot disclose.

Oso HR heads do entertain other HR heads wrt past salaries enquiries . V even entertain credit card co enquiring about employees salaries. Got many tipu cases. Oso some employees dah lama resigned, still say under our payroll. Time is bad, man...
