These 2 guys do posses certain skillsets however the salary seems to be quite high. Am I allowed to ask for a bank statement? I have seen many saying that it is P&C.

This is what it is....TS likes the candidates, want to make an offer...but cannot afford the price tag....so waste time to think of some asinine idea to snoop around for the information that he wants.....which many of us have already expressed the legality of those methods......i.e. he asking a friend who works at an MNC to mispresent and commit fraud to get the information that he needs and some other laughable exercise.

If the payslips are real, he will still lowball and say, "This is very good offer, you can grow in this company" and whatever half-assed nonsense that he can make up
If the payslips are fake,  he will say " Gotcha, I knew your pay was not so high, so you should accept this lower offer, bery good edi, take it ok?" Which undoubtedly shows how sohai TS is for hiring forgers and fraudsters

Scary that TS/company is wasting time on non-issues.........better stay away from companies like these....it's gonna be a massive shitshow inside

i kinda like the way TS uses fake diamonds/LV bag analogy and tries to apply the same in his job

this is where the hiring manager comes in, to weed out the weak and see if the candidate fits the requirement and if they are worth the asking price

unless he's also the hiring manager that does the 2nd/3rd round of interviews and he's not doing a good job to prove the candidate's asking celery, thus have to resort to all sorts of lobang to find out if the candidate overstated their last drawn celery

TS is not competent enough to do the job and now looking for free advice on this forum.

Payslip discrepancy :
Candidate is lying by falsifying payslip
He assumes candidate is lying about their payslip

His 3rd party connection:

TS mentions he has connection that can confirm the candidates payslip,
When called out, TS change the tune to he ASSUMES their payslip is etc etc
TS mentions that he wants to get a 3rd party from MNC to disguise as employer to obtain 3rd party information about his prospective candidates.

Yes, there is a reason why you won't disclose and it's because you aren't truthful about how much you are earning. It's so simple.

Dude, you need to get the facts right. Yes, I do want to hire them because I want to help people however people have to be HONEST. When everything was carried out I more or less knew that in that department, the salary for the experience they have is about RM 4k - RM 5k. Every company has company equity. If you look at a call center for example, all people who have the same role have a certain salary range. Most will have RM 2k and the lower ones maybe RM 1.8k and the ones who have a high salary in that same role might have RM 2.5k maybe. You won't see a guy in that same department getting RM 10k no? This is common sense.

Now, when everything was discussed, I did not ask upfront how much they earned because I don't really care and it doesn't bother me since I know how much I am going to offer anyway. Now, they should be getting about RM 4k - RM 5.5k at most. I just asked them to email me IC, 3 months pay slap and certifications. The salary slip is RM 10k+. Now, these 2 are not superstars. For their age and experience, I am pretty sure their salary is half.

Now, they asked in the call for at least 20% increase from what they are getting. I verbally just agreed and said I would need their pay slips and when they emailed, I saw RM 10k+ which means I would need to offer them RM 12k. Is that a problem for the company? No. We can even pay more but this is NOT BEING HONEST. These kind of people should be exposed. I don't think it's right for anyone to exploit the system and the reason people do it is because everything is confidential. That is the bloody problem.

You my friend are definitely not the smartest guy in this room. Yes, I do know the pay slips are fake. I am 99.9% sure. How? I recruit on a daily basis. Now let me give you an example, someone who works in a call center would make RM 1.8k. If tomorrow they applied for another call center and they said their current pay is RM 7k and they are looking for an additional 20%. What would you ask them next? Would you say "wow, you must be great at picking up calls. Are you sure 20% is enough? Would you like a 30% instead". Maybe you would say something like that just by looking at your lack of knowledge and understanding but what I am saying is yes, there should be a way for hiring companies to gain access to what someone was paid in the past. When you accept a job for RM 2k and stay in a company for 10 years with that same pay, don't expect to come out and tell everyone because of your 10 years experience you deserve RM 15k and it's your bosses fault. Please don't be a loser. If you had that salary and stayed in the company it means you know damn well that you're not the best staff around and that is all what people are willing to pay you even after working for 10 years.

If you think you should get more or can get more, then leave after a year. Why stay for 10 years with a low salary and then come out and fake your slip trying to justify you should have been paid higher? Come on. Don't lie.
