checking payslip is bad practice. HR lazy dont want to rely on market rate and want to low ball.
if payslip higher than expected salary, HR ask a lot of question.
if payslip lower than expected salary, HR feel not worth to pay you.

Anyway, i refuse to disclose my payslip, just state i sign agreement cannot disclose.

Yes, there is a reason why you won't disclose and it's because you aren't truthful about how much you are earning. It's so simple.

No, first i dont want to get lowball by some cheapskate company.
second it is a fact that employment contracts do have clause to forbid you from disclosing your salary.

Oh, don't worry about getting lowballed by anyone. I don't think anyone would offer you lower than what you are currently earning.

lower maybe not, but higher even by 5% also not willing to pay.

anyway, u open a thread asking about ways to catch fake payslip shows desparation on yourside. Want their skillset yet unwillling to pay for what they requested.

a simple thing yet you want to make it so complicated. either
1. you just tell them straight to the face what you are willing to pay
or
2. pay them for what they requested and hire them on a contractual basis. lastly there is a thing call probation period, you dont like them or they cant perform just fire

omg, as if honesty about payslips is really that important than job performance.

seriously what position ts is looking to fill? if it is sales or call center, then ts should really hire them since ts is so fixated on their lies.

lying is also a skill.

Yes, I want to know what is the most efficient way. It looks like you are more keen on not coming up with a solution so that you can fake your way through the workforce. Come on now, be a man for once in your life. Stop being pathetic trying to hide everything by saying everything is confidential just so that you can lie.
*
The most efficient way is using your brain. If you think it is fake and dont want to hire, then dont hire, end of story.
Now what you are just displaying how incompetent you are.
1. you already determind it is fake yet you doubt your judgement.
2. you have poor assesment, negotiation and comprehension skills.
3. you assess people by their payslips instead of judging how good they are and whether the pay they requested is justified by how much they can bring to the company.
some people are just uncomfortable to reveal their payslips moreover do not allow to call their employer, not because solely they got something to hide. A fine example will this ipohmali guy who called and notify that one of their current employee just came over here for interview.

On a side note, will you be ok to show job applicants, your company profit and loss statement and company bank statement, to justify as to not working in a sinking ship and whether you are able to pay the salary requested on time.
