my only unsolved issue is the tik tik tik sound on steering when turning, so far complained many times but still unsolved. it's not impacting the driving experience but the sounds are annoying.

Could be suspension issue if they feel it's not racks prob

Will be leaving this group soon, possibly by early next month. It has been a wonderful ride using the Civic FE RS 2022 as my daily workhorse vehicle. As I am well into my 40s, I need to move away from low seated sedans and transition to higher ride SUVs.

Just booked a BYD Sealion 7 AWD and will be delivered by early next month at the latest. This will be my first car outside of Honda (City GD8, Civic FD2, Civic FC1, and Civic FE1) and of course, my first EV. The Sealion just ticks all the boxes that I wanted for my next car, and I needed a higher ride car soon for my poor back.

It has been a pleasure being part of the Honda Lowyat community throughout the years, and I hope you all have a wonderful time with the superb FE!

Trade assisted by BYD yes, but under Sime. Not yet traded but offered around 90-92k. Have not finalized yet. Planning to go to Carro and Carsome too. Will interchange the number first before trading in the car

Expect the very low price from both Carro, Carsome, except if they do the bidding. Trade in my family cars early this year by carsome, trouble free but price is not attractive

RS… Terrible deal as direct sale may be able to get 105k to 110k. Hence I’m in no particular rush to make a decision where to trade in the car. Will shop around first. The BYD Sealion I was able to get 24.5k discount, so quite happy with it.

Just sharing with friends here. I just sold my car for RM98k to a car dealer who had a ready buyer. Carro offered 95k Nett and Carsome offered 96k Nett.

Dealer swooped in with 98K Nett. My car was the 2022 Honda Civic RS, is excellent condition. I left my wheel nut and Viofo A129 Pro Duo dashcam with the car - lazy to uninstall it and sell off separately.

Thus, I officially end my membership of the Honda Civic 11th Gen LYN thread. May you all enjoy your ride and ownership of the car!

Though I have a different car but I'll probably chime in about steering rack. I drove the current GN2 City now on its 4th year, and my steering developed clicking sound last year. Went to SC, they say the clicking sound too soft to be able to claim warranty from HQ. Fast forward this year when I raised the issue again after the clicking sound grew louder, they said claim warranty straight away, no questions ask. Both instances same SC. The City is my 2nd Honda, and warranty is ending next month.

Seeing that steering rack issue is so prevalent in most Honda models, seems like I have to look elsewhere for my next car.

Thanks for the input guys...
