Hi gurus, I just put a booking for a used 2020 Gen-10 Civic 1.5 TCP FC facelift with Sensing.

However, I am also looking at the Gen-11 Civic, and wondered if I should wait for it.

Pros:
- 12-speaker Bose
- better noise reduction
- more premium looking cockpit design (except honeycomb) and materials
- Better UI with wireless AppleCarplay/AndoirdAuto
- Blind spot monitor/Cross Traffic monitoring
Cons: the price seems to lean towards at least 20k higher than current price, and potential wait of at 9-12 months before actual delivery of the car?

Feedback / advise welcome!

12-speaker Bose might not make it to Bolehland kot... tongue.gif

What's the speaker system used on the current Accord...? sweat.gif

Wow you are right. Civic Thailand remains 8-speaker for highest RS Spec
And I also noticed that they don't get blind spot monitor.
Civic Thailand
No Blindspot monitor for Singapore too.
Civic Singapore

Maybe better to just keep my FC booking  brows.gif

HM never did use BSM on any of the local Honda cars, they much prefer LaneWatch... I'd wished they had both...

Hey guys… this steering rack issue, is this the same problem that is plaguing the Civic only or all Honda models…?

Currently own a City GN and planning to upgrade to Civic. My City has a very soft clicking sound when steering and it’s not always reproducible. Even my old Jazz GE has friction sound on steering when turning. Both cars either Honda SC unable to fix or they refused to fix.

If this is the same widespread issue on the Civic then perhaps I might consider another brand instead…

I sold my E for 88k only last year. I'm calling sunset on Japanese cars.

Why sell…? blink.gif

Steering rack x 3 and low quality interior door panels and not so useful SC at my area..
And hard seats

Can read back last year’s posts..

Though I have a different car but I'll probably chime in about steering rack. I drove the current GN2 City now on its 4th year, and my steering developed clicking sound last year. Went to SC, they say the clicking sound too soft to be able to claim warranty from HQ. Fast forward this year when I raised the issue again after the clicking sound grew louder, they said claim warranty straight away, no questions ask. Both instances same SC. The City is my 2nd Honda, and warranty is ending next month.

Seeing that steering rack issue is so prevalent in most Honda models, seems like I have to look elsewhere for my next car.

Thanks for the input guys...
