my suggies dont need to cut the mealworm head. they just grab and munch munch munch ..

hahaha .. at swiss or mexico .. cant remember. they take a apple on a stick, put choc all over the apple then guling2 around a plate full with mealworm .. some eat like that ..some bake it first ..

hun .. its kepala laaa . kelapa is buah nyo .. the one that make the santan ..

Ya no need cut head 1, just direct feed, u will c your sugar glider in dark side face , mine is like that Totally like another Ah Pit.

Ah Pit now like eat those mix food, but i think that mix food will make Ah Pit full and can't finish those fruits, maybe need to give less for the fruits . Keep some for morning eat.

Don't know now Ah Pit still want cat food or not, hope she forget about it.

For joeys you must introduce with cut head. This is to give it a taste since Lollypop has never eaten any insects before.

The food mix is a supplement. Means only 1 meal is the mix and only 1 large tablespoon. Fruits should be more. The best insects are crickets.

Yap i feed 1 talbespoon for every night, fruits also give but until morning those fruits like didn't touch like that, never mind i keep feed like that c what is going on.

If feed crickets is it need to feed it by hand or just put there? ( will jump out 1 ) or need to make the cricket die?

The best is feeding by hand. I feed my gliders by hand, both mealworms and crickets. It makes bonding much better.

Now I am babysitting a friend's untame gliders, they even take mealworms from my fingers hahhaah....

I see maybe do like that will help me tame Ah Pit .
I didn't feed mealworm when feeding cat food, hmm need to buy back some mealworm for Ah Pit.

I like giving my suggies mealworm, cuz it's their fav and they will always make that "yum, yum" sound while eating

Nowadays I buy mealworms a lot at one go, last time RM1 can last me a month, now RM1 for 1 week only Summore I feed the mealworm, make them fat-fat first before giving Iggy & Luna

Normally live insects like mealworm or cricket, best to hand feed them. If so takut, get a tweezer lah. Those live one cannot leave like that, they'll sure crawl or hop all over later

He was full handed, somehow so many patients

Spoke to him for a bit re Iggy and already set the appointment...

The big day is, 29 September...

Iggy was somehow well behaved just now, didn't resist or try to bite me when I took him out, but then he quickly ran under my tudung as usual and stayed there

I silently pray that everything will go well and that it will allow other people the same option too

Dr Yeoh normally very busy during weekends. Alot go there for treatments and visitation. I also scared kalau go on weekend hahahah....

But it is good that he is willing to castrate lah.

Those big ones are called Super worms.... better just stick to mealworms and crickets. Whatever you catch like cicak or grasshopper for them is not healthy.

Castrate to avoid breeding. Do you know that it is quite suffering for a glider to give birth every time? Once or twice have babies in it's life is ok but every year? Till they are 8 years old? It is torturing.... also, we are not people who got no heart to sell of joeys that we see our gliders bring into the world. So it is better to end suffering.

This is same with dogs, cats, most mammals. Since gliders cannot be separated, if got male and female, castrate the male. This is why we keep single sex pairs is the best.

It is not cruel, inhumane and dumb to neuter or castrate. It can make their life easier and longer.
