Honestly I've never seen the red meat range. Only the normal yellow packaging one.

But with the already super high protein content in the normal range, you still wanna feed the red meat variety? smile.gif

She's a monster pup, she like like... Lamb ah... Beef ah... Like that one wor. By the way, the red meat also have compartively protein level.

Oooo... ya I heard also if feed lamb, dog's fur will be nicer compared to those fed on chicken.

My bigger dog doesn't like beef. We call him the Buddhist dog lol.

Hahaha... If the chicken used is of human grade and grew w/o any hanky-panky acceleration, its fine also one.

By Nature ok ok nia... Very low meat content. The ingredients not very remarkable as well. Too pricey for its range, will never reccomend. Its treats are Ok and well priced though.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee don't feed Alpo lah! LOL. Between Alpo and table scraps, I rather feed table scraps. At least I know precisely what I'm feeding my dog.

If I have to resort to cheaper dog kibble, I would prolly switch to Pro Pac, but only the performance puppy lamb & rice formula (purple bag) nia.

Or the original Innova (not Evo).

Kibble choices in Kuching not much variety. Only recently pet shops started to bring in brands like Orijen, Evo, Nutro, California Natural, Avoderm etc. Before that, the best was I think Blackwood and Innova.

Hey all, i just introduced Orijen to my pup last week. Since then, his poo turns to be very muddy.

Do this mean my pup not suitable to eat Orijen ?

How long the problem already? How was the switch made??? Straight away 100% Orijen the next meal your pup finishes her/his previous kibbles?

Hi, any change in diet should preferably be done gradually. First time, mix more of the old food, then slowly reduce the old until the complete change is done. This could be a possible cause of the problem.

The other reason could be overfeeding. Are you overfeeding your puppy? Try reducing a little at a time until the stool is nice and well formed.

My animals used to have this problem, esp. when I overfeed. Also, you have to give your puppy some time to get use to a good food. I'm sure it is not because Orijen is not suitable for the puppy. It takes time, esp. when you are changing to a very good food. Once the puppy is used to the food, you will see the great improvement. How do I know? I've seen it in many of my animals.

Another food for thought - have you considered raw food? This is even better than any kibbles.

Raw food as in raw meat and bones.

My shihtzu's poo turned nice and solid a few days after being on raw diet. And the best thing is that she only poos once a day now. Her poo also not that stinky anymore.

Orijen is one of the best dog food. Even i found all kibbles are not satisfactory though.
