i heard dat blackwood now is made in thailand so its not so good anymore..and it oso change da color of our dogs. wonder if dis is true..

Made in Thailand? Could be true coz now alot of dogfood also made in Thailand.... cheap labour.

But change colour? You mean fade the colour of the dog's fur?

ya..da colour of da fur wil fade..dats wat i hear from da pet shop owner...dunno is true anot...and alot of pet shop i went, not selling blackwood anymore...they keep on saying da supplier din send them da stock...

i'm using eagle pack for a while with good result
the price has been going up
but the worse thing is my local dealer said that the importer is going to discontinue the brand soon
anyone heard about this?

We have no idea actually. We dont go around checking for the best price. Most of us probably go to the store most convenient for us. Well, if you are from Selangor, I would suggest you to try Seapark Pet Supplies as they are distributor to a lot of smaller shop around Klang Valley.

Seapark Pet Supplies is at SS2, behind the corner McDonalds.

Anyone with any experience using Addiction Raw Dehydrated Food?

i have a prob with my shihtzu who is 9 months old
he doenst want really want to eat his kibbles. he will either quarter of the serving or totally dont touch it..
i have switched from blackwoods puppy - natural balance puppy- 1st choice puppy to currenlty adult kibbles proplan and he still not keen to eat. i really run out of idea .
I am not sure if the taste of the previous brand of kibbles i bought are too bland or he is jus not into eating kibbles.
I have fed him rice and egg once b4 and he actually finised them in no time.. need advices from you guys...thnx in advance!

Add water to the serving when you feed him his meal.

Yup, it's true.

You can try this method but you have to be a little hard. It has worked on many dogs (not all):
Put his bowl of food in front of him. Leave it there for 10 minutes. If he has not finished his food, take it away. The next meal, do the same thing again. He should be hungry enough to eat. If he doesn't eat, then repeat this for a few meals. Make sure you do not feed anything in between. (But make sure there is water available at all times)

i have tried that way for a day..and he skipped two meals but the next day he vomitted out yellow kind of sticky paste so i guess it must be due to his empty stomach which induce the vomitting.
Do you think it is ok if i leave him not eating his food for few days?

wow kesian your dog... is he sick or something? what brand did u feed him previously? i just adopted a 4 yr old shih tzu... he is a greedy doggy and will eat anything

anyway would like to ask all experienced dog owners here... what is the best affordable dog food to give my dog? he is allergic to chicken. is eukanuba ok? thanks! =D

If allergy to chicken, can get lamb or fish. Price for fish will be abit higher.
Premium brand got eukanuba, purina, blackwood, eaglepack,acana.....personal like blackwood and acana.

nope..i guess he is just choosy on the food coz i have fed him egg and rice once..since then he didnt wan to touch his kibbles.
the current brand im feeding him is pro plan and 1st choice

oh... i heard that once a dog tastes human food, he won't want doggy food anymore...
then he didn't eat for how many days already? @__@

haha i think he is photogenic...
ooh.. what's the difference ar between all the brands?

somewhat agree with ya, both of my mutt pom were on acana and orijen 6 fish previously .. then i feed both of my mutt table scrap/ kfc nugget / sausage / steamed deboned fish as treats ...

after they tasted those stuff.. my nightmare begin as they dont whack kibbles anymore lol ..

whenever i try to feed them with kibbles from acana/orijen 6fish/ orijen puppy / addiction kangaroo / addiction vension / addiction raw dehydrate / natural balance ultra..... they would just sniff, sneeze and walk away while showing you the "wadafak" face

anyway both of them were on cooked pork, chicken , hard boiled egg, fishcake and rice diet mixed with fruits n carrot now ...
